In the end, Di Tou didn't find anything all that useful in the resources exchange either…
The problem just boiled down to the fact that he was f*cking ignorant and didn't know much about what was useful and what was not. But at the same time, part of the issue was that he didn't really have much of a reason to obtain the resources available at Qian Jian Shan, as they were, for the most part, ordinary resources. Even the rare resources were only rare in the context of being pricy. Anything one of a kind or unique… how could it show up in such an ordinary list?
