Higher the cultivation, harder it is to kill the person. A hole in the chest might be fatal for a normal person, being as a cultivator Gimrick is not going to die so easily although it will take him few days to heal from it.

The sudden sharp pain alerted him, he thought the battle was over but Gimrick was standing in front of him once again charging and him with his battle axe, Zhuge ducked down quickly and the wave from the axe chopped few trees behind him . He punched Gimrick on the injured part of his chest sending him flying back few metres and crashing with the carriage. The pain was making him faint but now was not the time for that , he took out few bottles of potion from his dimensional picked and started drinking them quickly but Zhuge not wanting to give him rest charged forward, although having his leg injured he was in a much better condition and being an army general who has been in many battles such injuries weren't going to slow him down.

He reached Gimrick who was still holding a small glass bottle close to his mouth and was about to lift his foot to step on the hole in his chest but quickly noticed something was wrong, he was getting dizzy and his leg was bleeding. Normally it should have already stopped bleeding and even started to heal. He was not an alchemist but being in many fights he understood what was happening. The bottle in gimrick's hand was not a healing potion rather a liquid poison that turns to vapour at atmospheric pressure. It was not only affecting him, Gimrick was also suffering from it. Staying in the gas a little longer both of them will be paralyzed and eventually die.

Not wanting to risk his life Zhuge planned to leave the place and just search for the spirit owl but he couldn't lift his leg as it was covered with vines that were climbing his legs and binding him to the place.

Gimrick was using his spiritual energy to grow the vines, although he should not be able to do that at this stage of cultivation.

Cultivators in later stages of the second cultivation realm 'spirit building' can manipulate their spirit elements. But Gimrick was in the early stages of spirit building realm so theoretically it should have been imposible for him to do that but he was burning his life force to amplify his power . In the forest han was facing the monster brought to life by Zhuge, han was a normal human so it was not really a battle but han was still trying to keep him away from the place where he had hidden yeshia.

It had already eaten all four of han's limbs and was preparing to bite of his head when it suddenly turned to ash, since monsters are concentrated residual spirit energy brought to life by the cultivator, they lack consciousness and are controlled by the cultivator. Since Zhuge had already passed out his connection with the wolf also terminated returning it back to dust. Even though han was saved from being beheaded he knows he will die in a few moments from the blood loss since he is a normal human. No mortal medicine can help him right now and heavenly medicine is extreamly rare, as few people know how to make it.

His face was deformed and one of his eye was missing from being tossed around by the wolf. He started crying while looking at the sky not because of the pain but because he was unable to move towards the trees to prevent himself from being seen in this state by yeshia and Gimrick, but being completely amputated he couldn't do that.

Few minutes passed and yeshia was there, she had left the pit when she herd her father's scream. She kept azure in the pit covered by leaves and told it to wait for her to be back, and then started searching for han.

When she finally found her father, she lost every ounce of strength from her body and fell on her face after seeing her father in such a state. Tears flowing down her face, she wants to call her father's name but because of such a huge shock she forgets how to talk and can only make gibberish noises. Han notices her and stops crying he looks towards her, heartbroken to see her daughter in such state "dear, come closer to me ".

Yeshia crawls to her father still crying uncontrollably. " Don't cry love, remember i always told you, there comes a time for everyone to leave this world now is my time. Maybe i will be able to meet my parents, although I'll still miss you....., Yeshia promise me you won't blame anyone for this , not azure not yourself, no one is responsible for it, it was my choise.

Yeshia is just staring blankly at her father's face and crying, knowing it will be the last time she can see it. She can see the amputated body covered in blood, the injuries and the cavity on her father's deformed face which used to hold his beautiful eye is now empty. All this is giving rise to an untamed fury inside her, she is trying her best to contain the rage. Yeshia embraces her father and kisses him on his forehead making him smile for the last time. After few minutes yeshia can no longer feel her father's heartbeat.

The rage rises to an unhinged level she is no longer aware of what she is doing , she looks at the sky and roars. The roar travels the whole forest making the birds and animals living in the forest fear and run for their life. Her hazel eyes get shrouded by darkness and turn draker than the night. The rage explodes creating a shockwave so powerful that everything surrounding her in a hundred metre radius is destroyed. Tha huge trees surrounding her are uprooted , the ground cracks and the unlucky animals that didnt run earlier turn to a bloody mess.

The roaring finally stops and yeshia passes out.
