Hey, gold thief!" shouted Lee Gon from the top of the tree, causing the black-clad robbers to stop their journey and stare at Lee Gon.

Lee Gon immediately flew up and threw himself on the roof of the horse-drawn carriage, causing the robbers to make a lot of noise, and started taking out their swords from their scabbards.

The band of robbers began to snort in annoyance at Lee Gon's meaningless babble.

Lee Gon flew straight at the big boss as he drew his sword right at his face. However, the big boss quickly stepped aside, making Lee Gon laugh again.

"Wow, you're good too. No wonder you guys are predicted to be the greatest Segye troops in the Joseon Dynasty. Apparently, your abilities are extraordinary!"

"Don't try to stop me, Lee Gon. Prepare to meet your death!" he shouted as he ran straight at Lee Gon and tried to attack him.

While Lee Gon was busy battling with the big boss of the Segye army, Bai Lu and Ling Fei took this golden opportunity to steal back some chests containing gold coins, as well as the silver that the Segye army was about to carry.

"Boss, someone stole our gold chest!!!" shouted one of Segye's men who accidentally saw Vai Lu and Ling Fei stealing some of their gold coins.

Hearing their boss's orders, the Segye troops began to ambush Ling Fei as well as Bai Lu. As soon as they closed in on Ling Fei and Bai Lu, Kang Taeshin appeared to barge in and hit them with a single death blow.

Taeshin never attacks his enemies with any weapons. He always attacked his enemies with his bare hands. Because with just one punch, he could knock down his enemy quickly.

"Fei~ah, take this gold chest to a safe place. I'll help Kang Taeshin fight."

Bai Lu and Kang Taeshin exchanged smiles. Bai Lu felt that Kang Taeshin was indeed very special. Whenever he encountered enemies, he never fought them with his weapons. "I'll do it. I will return my stolen goods to the people of Joseon."

"Take those chests near the Okue river. I kept them there. And, return your stolen goods to their owner right now," Ling Fei told him.

Yongjae nodded his head nervously. He immediately went half-running to the Okue River to retrieve his loot and return it to its rightful owner.

"Wait!" Taeshin yelled, causing Yongjae to stop in his tracks, "where are you taking the loot?"

Yongjae turned his body around and stared at Taeshin's face nervously, his body trembling with fear.

"To the Segye army headquarters."

"Where is it?" Taeshin asked back.

"On Jiri Mountain, near the Geum River border."

"Wait, Taeshin~shii. Aren't there some pretty famous temples near Jiri Mountain?" asked Ling Fei while looking at Taeshin's face.

"Yes, that's right. Hwaeomsa Temple, it's the biggest temple there and there was Aeshin's greatest attack during the Goryeo Dynasty."

"So, right? This all has to do with the Aeshin again. Everything we do, has to do with Aeshin. What exactly was she trying to do all this time?"

Ling Fei seemed to be thinking about something. So did the others. Apparently, there would be a mystery for them to solve. Why was it that every single thing they did and every enemy they encountered, always had to do with Aeshin?
