The main hall of Rosario High was abuzz with murmurs and eager whispers as every student athlete gathered. Lio glanced around, taking in the rare sight of the entire team in one place, along with other athletic clubs, lined up in rows. The sports committee had called for an impromptu assembly, which usually meant something significant. Beside him, Mia tapped her foot against the polished floor, her impatience mounting with each passing second, while Kaito stretched his neck, trying to catch a glimpse of the stage up front.
"You think it's about the upcoming matches?" Kaito whispered, barely containing his enthusiasm.
Mia nodded, leaning forward. "It has to be. What else would get all of us here at the same time?"
