Unexpected Twists

The new day came with incredible energy and positive vibes.Sam was specifically enthusiastic because he had a game that Friday after school at around 6 o'clock in the evening. He was so excited about it that his friends got infected when he met them that morning. He wished the time would zoom on till it was finally time to play and that is exactly what happened. At 5 o'clock he decided to head to the locker room early and met Casimir who escorted him. They talked on their way about a lot of things till they neared the doors of the locker room. Casimir was infront and got to the door before Sam, he took a step inside but then quickly went back and closed the door.

Sam: what's wrong?"

Casimir: nothing."

Sam:then let's go inside."

Casimir: no!! Err, I emm, wanted you to...to tell you about this new poem that I wrote not too long ago."

Sam:Now?"

Casimir:I mean it's a whole hour untill the game begins."

Sam:fine."

Casimir: Let's go get a snack, I'm hungry. I'll tell you on the way."

Sam:okay, fine."

Casimir: whew."

They make their way to the cafeteria and Cas tells him the poem as they do.

Love

The gods and goddesses

Even ones of love

Cannot begin to describe

A word so great

I think aloud and cannot measure

Even the greatest poets dare not venture

To describe this sacred truth

The quill and parchment all fall short

For it indeed so many have fought

Many tempests cannot drown love

Not the gates of hell enslave it

To let go of your beloved

To another for their happiness

Proves strength worthy of titans

You cannot exchange it for all you have

The treasures of the earth are not it's price

A perfect flower exalted in beauty

Falls short of what love is

In all my ignorance this I know

The meaning of love to me is so

I am neither god nor deity

But love to me is beyond eternity.

Casimir:so what do you think, I feel like it's boring and uninventive.

Sam: What? That's nonsense, it's fantastic.

Casimir:well I'm glad you think so."

They get a couple of snacks and talk till it's almost game time. They walk back to the locker room,still talking."

Sam:okay, got to go."

Casimir: See you out there and ofcourse go win this thing."

Sam:I will."

Casimir sighs as he gazed at his friend's back and heads to the stadium to find someone. He saw his friends not far away as he was looking for the person of his interest and headed over there.

Jake : I saved you a seat, come and sit down.

Casimir:have you guys seen Allison, I need to find her.

Daniel:oh, there she comes.

Cas looked at a specific direction where Daniel was pointing and got up to go talk to Allison.

Jake:is everything ok?You seem a little off, did something happen to Sam.

Casimir:No, nothing happened to sam,it's just I have something to talk with her about. Nothing serious.

Sebastian: okay but don't take long or I'll beat you up when you get back.

Casimir:you got it.

He walks off to meet Allison and drags her away from the place to talk.

Casimir: What's wrong with you!

Allison:sorry??

Casimir:you better be sorry or I'll hang you myself.

Allison:what are you talking about??

Casimir:I'm talking about what happened in the locker room an hour ago. You were having sex with Kevin of all people and in the locker room? What the hell were you thinking.

Allison's face turns grimm.

Allison:you saw us?

Casimir:and you should be glad that it was me and not Sam. I had to ramble on about poetry for almost an hour so he wouldn't have to see you and Kevin having sex behind his back!! I thought I knew you but I was wrong.

Allison:I didn't...I just.....I don't...

Casimir: I don't care about whatever excuse you have but you better pray that Sam does when I tell him.

Allison:tell him.... You can't.

Casimir:I don't wanna hurt my friend but keeping this from him will hurt even more. He has the betrayal of a lover to deal with,I don't want to add the betrayal of a friend.

Allison:please,I'm begging you.it was a mistake.

Casimir: then I'll give you the chance to come clean or I will.

Casimir leaves Allison alone and heads back to sit with his friends at the stadium to watch the football game. There he noticed that jake was missing.

Casimir: where's jake?"

Neo:he went after you the moment you left."

Casimir:but I didn't see him."

Sebastian:maybe he's gone back to our dorm to get something."

Daniel:that has to be it."

They sat and watched till the end of the game but still Jake was a no show and Casimir was struggling under the weight of the truth. They descended and saw Allison who was being approached by a happy Sam.

Sam:we won, we won,we won.

He picks up allison into the air,spins her around and kisses her passionately for the first time.

Alison: i thought you said you didn't want to kiss anyone till you were sure they were your soulmate.

Sam:I did, didn't I? Allison Pierce, I love you. And I trust you. You are my soulmate.

Casimir:Sam, we need to talk. It's beyond important, it has to do with you and Allison."

Before things could progress further someone came to inform them that the Dean was waiting for them in his office. Confused, they went with the informant to the dean's office with Allison missing,as she was not invited. They arrived outside the dean's office and were ushered in.

Dean: we need to talk.

They were a little alarmed by the dean's tone.

Sam:is there a problem sir?

Dean:No. I hear that you are friends with Jake Hallow, is that the case?

Daniel:Yes sir. Did anything happen to him?

Dean:He is fine as of now but due to a family emergency he had to leave.

Sebastian: What kind of family emergency? Is he going to be gone for long?

Dean: well, his brother, the crown prince of Edenville was attacked not long ago. His father sent for him so he can be kept safe.
