He wanted to ask Hoivata for smarts the longer this went. Unfortunately, he was already at 5-Sun; the only way left to the warlord to get smarter would be to ascend to a celestial. The problem was once he did; he would no longer be able to remain in this world. So that made the point moot.
Tursas could only vow to himself one thing: his focus and desire would lie in the safety of his family and Alfheim; nothing else mattered. Thus, he marched, knowing this battle could be the last he and his warriors would ever see. To Vihansa's request, he could only respond.
"We shall see if Hoivata desires her blood; should that be true, you will cross blades again. Marduk, are there any other forces around the vicinity?"
Puzzled by what his father was trying to ask, the elven hybrid simply said, "Father, what other force are you expecting to arrive? If there a 3rd army arriving separated from Asgard and Alfheim."
