Forced to walk a new path in life after failing to ascend, a once immortal martial artist, Ryu Il, faces the trials and tribulations of the Other Side once more. But not everything was as it seemed, though he was in his younger self's body once more, minor details had gone awry. "Yet here I float, the 'craziest human to live on Earth' being the last human to exist. It's pretty ironic." Brutal Training All Around (4)

This high that Bae Suk was experiencing, anyone can attain it when they work hard enough. Yet he was the only one experiencing it as of right now, just showing that the other twelve executives weren't trying their best, rather they were trying to make it through the workout while saving as much strength as possible.

But now that their physical training was over, Bae Suk's high would go to waste. A decision would have to be made on his part, would he give in to the high and continue to train despite the training being over, or would he squander his chance at growth.

"All of you, your training for today is done, since this is the first day, I will cut the evening training to allow you all to rest. Starting tomorrow we will train at dawn, in the middle of the day, and at dusk."

Disgruntled moans erupted from the executives, although that groan was from both the pain they were experiencing and the relief that they no longer had to train for the rest of the day.

I turned around and began walking back to the cult headquarters, with the executives following far behind me, as they lacked the energy to walk properly.

However, a few moments later when I looked back to see if they were still following me, I found only eleven executives following me. Bae Suk and Baek Il were the only ones not in the group.

I turned around and walked back toward the struggling group of eleven executives. Giving them only one command before walking past them toward where we had been training.

"Return to the headquarters, I will return soon."

The group, too tired to argue or question why I had given such a command, shrugged and followed my command.

Baek Il and Bae Suk, I didn't know much about them. But with Bae Suk in the state he was in, and Baek Il being the greedy little shit he was, this couldn't end well.

A moment later I arrived at the location where the executives had been training for the past two hours. Only to find Bae Suk and Baek Il staring each other down, with both of them in a squat position.

It seems like Baek Il didn't want to admit that a fatty like Bae Suk was stronger than him. And Bae Suk, who was still experiencing his workout high, was eager to continue working, even if it meant training his body beyond what it was meant to be trained.

I was worried for no reason, these two were just competing amongst themselves to not look inferior. As long as nothing shady happened afterward, I could leave these two be.

Walking up to a nearby tree, I sat down in a lotus position and began using the Cloud Origin Force to replenish the qi I had spent earlier in the day. Whilst my body was focused on replenishing my qi, my mind returned to its process of imagining new ways to create my new ultimate martial arts.

An entire hour would pass, with all three of us moving a collective total of an inch during that time. And while my qi was only halfway replenished, my mind had grown tired from the innumerable different techniques I had tried to imagine.

And with the stalemate between Bae Suk and Baek Il looking as if it could go on for another hour, I figured enough was enough and stood up off the ground.

"Alright you two, have fun with your sleep." I uttered to myself quickly appearing behind Bae Suk and knocking him out, only to appear behind Baek Il a moment later and knock him out too.

I had regained plenty of internal energy, so dealing with any rogues within the cult or any outside intruders wouldn't be an issue. Quickly picking up Bae Suk and Baek Il and placing them under each arm, I began using my footwork techniques to return to the cult headquarters.

An upside of this however, I received a great story to tell Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong.

A few minutes later when I arrived outside the cult leader building, Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong walked out from inside and greeted me.

"Welcome Master, where have you been?"

"Yes Master, where have you been?"

"Before I do that, you two should go put these two in their quarters so they don't get disturbed, I will explain everything once you return."

I handed Bae Suk and Baek Il to Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong before walking past them and into the cult leader building. I had wasted too much time today, I wasted time because I didn't want to work on this next task, but if I was going to lead this cult, I would have to get used to it.

Paperwork.

Every piece of paperwork that the previous leader, Baek Il, had been completing to keep the cult from going bankrupt, would now have to be completed by me. Sigh... Such is my fault for taking over this cult, maybe I should hire someone in the future to help take care of this paperwork.

Pyo Kang and Pyo Yong returned a few minutes later as I was sitting down in the chair at the cult leader desk. They immediately walked up to me and began harassing me about where I had been.

"You were gone for well over two hours longer than you should have! We didn't know what to do next, so we just let the cultists rest! Why were you gone for that long?"

"Yeah! You could have at least told one of us that you wouldn't be back at a normal time!"

They were right in their concerns, as in the time it took for me to return, the sun had already set, and the cultists began winding down for the night. There's no point in hiding what had happened to them, since they are the only two I can trust as of right now.

"Pyo Kang, Pyo Yong, do either of you remember that fool, what was his name? Seong Chul?"

I could tell that the name clicked in their heads, as once his name left my mouth both of their expressions relaxed.

"I see, but why was Baek Il and the fat one still training an hour after you had sent the other executives home?"

"They were competing, just like you two should be."
