Mission failed...

"We meet again...Rose" A girl smirked looking at Angeline with her the devil eye.

"Long time no see, Zila" Angeline gritted her teeth. Both of them star in at each other and glared.

Zila was one of Lion's support squad who's somehow someone that is close to Angeline.

They were like a friend who has each other side in any situation. yet she betrayed the squad for wealth purposes and manipulated every mission in the file.

Her action made the mission failed and some of the secrets burst from the top-secret list.

Without waiting for Angeline to move, Zila took her first move charging at her.

Angeline ducked and dodged her attack. If she refused to tie her hair in buns, maybe Zila will end up causing trouble to her hair.

"You can't do this, Zila," Angeline told her and Zila knocked her back with the end of a G18 gun.

As Angeline was holding herself from pain, Zila raise her arm and aimed the gun at her, preparing to shot.

"She eager to finish it quick...." Angeline took a grasp of the air and swiped her feet from the ground which make Zila fall and dropped her gun.

Angeline took it and miss shot Zila's arm, giving her a minor injury on her left arm.

She ran to the highest floor with the same gun and left Angeline defenceless in the middle of the broken building.

Zila brings in multiple shot from the higher floor. Thus, Angeline ran towards her and ignored the pain at her left rib.

"Curse this pain" She forced herself. Since the diamond was on the second floor, Zila grabbed the locked glass box with a reddish diamond on a red pillow.

Zila was far ahead and Angeline wished to use magic to stop her. "I can't do that" She speaks to herself.

"She has a total 0 magical defence" She shook her head as she was thinking how she will end up killing Zila with her untamed magic.

Angeline tried to grab it yet a magical force stopped her by the waist and throw her 6 feet from Zila.

Angeline's back was knocked hard by the pieces of the broken wall. She coughed blood and wiped it using her hand.

"Zila?" She stunned as she saw Zila controlling magic. Her weak body wondered whether she could continue this fight or let Zila escape with the precious diamond.

With her body's condition, elemental magic might harm her as well.

Though her opponent's skill is still on the lower level, Angeline can't believe she knows about the magic.

"Now, don't waste my time and let me have the diamond, shall we?" A sharp edgy blade summoned by Zila and with one strike, she cut her right arm.

Her right arm falls from her limbs and great pain felt on her arm. Her fallen right arm turned into a mist of shadow and vanished with into the air. Bad news for Zila, Angeline's right hand regenerated instantly.

"You really don't know whom you're playing with, don't you?" She giggled and gave her a frightful gaze of death as her pupil turned into bright red.

Her inner pupil dilated as she shot a gaze at her.

Zila chargers in full speed and both of them started a bloody fight while the other busy stopping the enemies at the lower floor.

"Everyone out, quick!" Edwin shouted to all of them who's still alive and helped them out. Frost look at his surrounding, remembered about Angeline's absence.

He looks to the right and left. "Rosy...?" Frost ran to save her by running through into the crowd of people.

From the front gate of the building, Frost felt a strong magical power and he lift his head upwards to the highest floor.

"This magic..." He worried then teleported to the bloody scene.

"Rosy!" He ran to her yet stop after he sees someone under her heels. Her beautiful dress was torn and damp by both of their blood.

Red blood dripping from her sword to the floor and the rhythm of her heartbeat was unstable as well as her body.

"Everything's fine..." He slowly approaching her. Her red pupil slowly turned back into black and look at Zila, who's lying on the floor.

"Did I kill her?" She asked him and Frost shrugged.

When both of them let their guard down, Zila stands up and snatched the glass box before Frost could touch it. "Good bye" She smiled and lost in a portal.

"Where are those two went?" Edwin asked the gathered squad in front of his eyes. Benjamin stares back at the broken building.

"There's plenty of bombs were set and it will explode within a minute. We have to fall back" Harry warned them.

Listening Harry's words, Ben's heart felt heavy to let her inside even with Frost.

All of them walked to a safer area but not Benjamin.

"I'm going in" He ran inside. Leonardo tried to snatch his hand but failed.

"I'm sorry, guys...mission failed. I let them escaped" Angeline said and the squad shocked as both of them were already here.

"What's with that face? I'm fine. I'm right here" She weakly laughed. "But not Ben, and the bombs gonna explode in any seconds" Natsumi anxiously shouted.

Her body instantly moves and push Frost to the ground. She ran in her fastest speed and forced to teleported herself to find him.

Aaron doesn't want to witness the explosion. So, they dragged the ladies and the others to a safer place.

Frost stands up and cursed. "Come back here, Frost!" Edwin shouted at him as he saw the silvery hair boy ran into the building following her.

Edwin knelt down on the dirty ground as he placed both of his hand on his head. "Aren't they afraid of death?" He questioned.

"Come on, Ed" Grace pulled his hand and he has no choice but to leave three of them inside.

As the eldest of the squad, he hold the responsible of each member and must protect the in any cost.

"Mission...failed" He looked down.

"Ben!!" Angeline screamed with all of her might. She spotted a bomb and look located on the wall. She turned her head and saw others bomb which has less than a 30 second to explode.

Angeline endlessly shouting his name and her body shakes in fear.

Less than 10 seconds left, they finally saw each other and Ben bolted as fast as lightning.

BOOMM!!

A bomb explodes and followed by the others. The building is collapsing before their eyes and mind could think. Benjamin looks at his circumstance and saw a massive explosion.

From their back, front, right to left, The chance of survivability was 2%. "Angeline!" He shouted and how unlucky he was, a piece of the wall fall on top of him.

"Ben!!" Angeline cried and from behind, Frost grabbed her waist and ducked down as he formed a sturdy shield to cover them.

"Why you didn't save him" Angeline punched Frost's chest and he couldn't look at his girlfriend's face.

"You stupid" She punched him as she cried. He looked down and apologized. She clenched her fist and took a step backwards.

"This is the first time, I see her cry..." Frost said in his mind. His heart broke into pieces watching her.

"Why...??" She falls on her knee. She's getting weaker every time she moves and covers her eyes with her hand.

"I told him not to sacrifice himself for me... This is all my fault... I'm too selfish!" She punched the ground. She cried a river and Frost touch her.

"Don't touch me, Frost" She barked in anger.

She looks at her hands as her nightmare came to life. Frost's eyes blurred as tears clogging his sight watching her in such a painful situation.

He looked at the shield and knows the shield is at its limit. He hugged her and teleported to a safer place.
