We hit the road the next day, mostly because reaching Oshito as fast as possible was key. I learned that night that the reason that they wanted to reach Oshito was because when you reach a certain level of power, they don't effect you.

Oshito was one of the rare places that had a safe zone inside of a magic field causing it to be stronger and thus stop stronger individuals.

Terry was confused when he saw three Krisha until he saw me turn into a Krisha and let Diana mount me.

He himself mounted a massive rabbit. At least that is the best way I can describe it. It's fur was red, it had gills on it's sides and on it's paws, you could see membranes. It's eyes shone with some kind of strange combination of mana and it's ears were like blades.

I knew this rabbit, it had been in the forest when Terry was recovering. Terry's naming sense was terrible though so I feel bad for it's name.

"That's a Rinshko right? I've never seen one of them but I heard that they are extremely hard to tame but if you're able to do it, they are loyal to you for life and they are born at tier 4 making them already difficult to kill for most creatures."

Terry nodded.

"This here is Big Terry, I tamed him when I was younger and he's been with me ever since. Also, the tier 4 thing is wrong, they are born at any tier, just depends on their environment. I've once seen a newborn at tier 10. A dragon tried to kill it because it was in his territory and it was afraid of this creature and the dragon died."

Yeah, Rinshkos are one of the rarest mounts you will see around and also one of the most powerful creatures but they are extremely rare, even if they are incredibly fertile, that's because they tend to be born in area's with a lot of high tier creatures.

Higher tier creatures also just have a harder time getting children with a few exceptions of course.

We left the town, not noticing that we were being followed by a small group.

This group followed that same slimy bastard that tried to rape Diana and he had now set his sights on her.

When night fell, we set up camp, I had bought a few things while in town. A bag to put some things in, some snacks to chow on while on the road and a book on magic races.

The bag was made for use by shapeshifters making it easy for me to keep it on me at all time.

How did I get the money you ask? Well, you'd be surprised how much people are willing to pay for a core filled with light mana.

Speaking of cores, I had discovered that while using Stone Body I could move it through the entirety of the created body, something that felt a bit weird but that could be usefull.

Lighting the fire and keeping it on with my magic I opened the book to start reading when I pick up some system chatter that didn't come from us.

{Greater Assassination activated}

{Advanced Gas Creation activated}

{Beast Control activated}

"Everybody, we're under attack!"

There was no need for any more words, everybody took out their weapons, Diana took out a knife that had her name engraved on it alongside the text, 'For my godchild, Shadow'.

I couldn't read it then but I now understand the significance of that knife, knowing that barely anyone survived the attack on Shadow Den.

Gas slowly moved towards, seemingly being controlled by some supernatural force, which it was.

The gas didn't do anything to anyone except Diana, she became more sluggish and extremely dizzy.

It seemed that it only worked on people under a certain stat amount which the others had reached. I wasn't affected because I don't need to breathe, nor do I have a bloodstream for the poison to enter.

We acted like we were all being affected causing our attackers to come out.

That slimy little shit was at the front, his face filled with glee.

"Hahaha, this is amazing, I knew learning how to use this skill would grant me some amazing opportunities."

Then he moved towards Diana, only for him to be stopped by Nagi.

"What, how are you not affected?"

We all moved as fast as possible, blocking his helpers from, well, helping him.

"You think you're so powerful, you think you can have anything you want, I'll show you how wrong you are."

Nagi was half growling while saying this. "Ha, as if a filthy human could ever exert enough power to beat a tier 7 like me."

Nagi unsheated his sword, it's design was incredibly intricate. The material it was made from could only be one thing, Tanzanite.

The smell made me drool. It's hilt seemed to be like a bird, although it's hard to properly describe.

Above the hilt, a gray crystal could be seen, I could feel some weird power coming from it.

"That blade, no, you should be dead. My sources all but confirmed it. Then that means those two are ... Oh shit.

Everybody, run as far as you can, this is GAH."

His sentence was stopped when his throat was pierced by Nagi, others also seemed to recognize the blade, hell, I could even see Terry tremble from both excitement and fear.

The others tried to run but I erected a wal, stopping them from getting away.

Diana had fainted from the gas and that might've been for the better, what happened there was horrifying.

Aella, Markus and Nagi slaughtered all of them in less than a minute, the auras coming from them made me tremble.

Afterwards, I covered everything up so that Diana wouldn't have to witness the gruesome scene, she might've lived in a criminal den but she was still a child.

Terry sat down at the campfire, looking at the three of them with an expression of stupefaction.

"How is this even possible, you three were presumed to have died 20 years. So, before we go on I want to know, I want to know how the The Three Ryders of Humanity are still alive."
