Chapter 1: The Order of the Knights

A military parade was held on the streets of Radar Empire. This is to show off how great the sovereignty it has and also to introduce the respective heirs.

It is not only meant for the people and foreign representatives inside the capital but rather to the other parts either national and international community via electro-sacramental-energetical communication (same as social media)

It is meant to give an indirect message not to mess up with the Empire of Radar.

The Attack and Defense system started with the swordsman, archer, spearman, Glaive masters, Explosive Specialist, Military Technologist, Reckon and etc. followed by the Radar's pride what we known as The Great Order of the Knights, who possess the eternal flames from heaven.

The knights were all introduced by their names one by one and then divided into two groups. Each group will have one main chief knight. Only the smartest, the strongest and the bravest among all the twelve will be chosen as the main knights.

The warm colors will serve the soon-to-be Sun of the Empire and the cool colors will serve the Crown Princess which will be known as the Gleam of the South.

Finally, the imperial family was introduced. They were all honored by the people.

The emperor and the empress were followed by their children. The blonde angelic twins, the crown prince, Imperial Prince Leran Gustavian and the beautiful crown princess, Imperial Princess Harmonica Gustavian.

The empire of Radar will be divided back into two as well. The part that is more populated which is the north and the main part of the empire will be inherited and led by the crown prince and the south which is more isolated and cold will be led by the princess. A plan that will sort out the problem of the continent and will control the situation more.

After the official acknowledgement of the family heir the ceremonial knight oath-taking was held. One by one the knights came forth and swore an oath in their name and their flames. Transferring the loyalty from the parents to the heirs of the throne as they come of age.

However, "tsk" a scowl on the crown prince's face was formed. The emperor came to notice it so he called out to his son to remind him to fix his expression.

"We are in a public place" he uttered audibly yet not for others to hear.

"There's no way I can accept a woman to be a knight of the imperial family," he murmured to himself.

Among the twelve flamed knights was Callixa. The royal twin's closest childhood friend. She reached the level of the chosen flamed knights and even surpassed the crown prince's skills in combat, horse riding, archery and even swordsmanship. It hurts his pride and gives him the feeling that he is quite inferior to her.

"Are you against women being in position, brother?" his twin sister asked implying his prejudice.

He gave his sister a frowned serious cornered stare.

"No, I am not," he said in an audible answer.

Even though they are twins, Princess Harmonica is older than him in minutes and bears equal ability to reign like him although the main position was rightfully given to him.

Because of the same reason, females attain the physical capability in intellect, combat and skills, they have earned the access and rights to join the army and the knighthood as well. They can obtain a higher position despite of their gender yet they are still limited in reaching the highest position because it was a custom that men are made in charge instead of women for women are more emotional and irrational in dealing with other things.

Zedan the crimson Flame knight was assigned to the crown prince as his main personal knight and Xeno the Sapphire Flamed knight to the crown princess's.

Callixa signals the two royal friends she have, as she formally comes forth to seal her loyalty to the selected royalty.

She signed up under the crown princess, Princess Harmonica.

It was a touch of bliss. How she waited for this moment to arrive. Even days or even minutes before the ceremony starts she will bother telling her royal best friends how excited and honored she was. It is like she receives the very purpose of her life.

Even behind her teasing, playful sarcasm, joyful bragging or the sharing of her future thoughts. It's undeniable that she is just behaving like a child and dreaming like a fool because she was so into it.

So, if these memories and emotions were all concrete why does Callixa commits a crime? From the least memories that I received when I entered her body. This is one of the most vivid and considered the most important memory to Callixa. However, this is not the most important information that I need right now.

If she is this close to the two imperial royalties and wanted to serve them with all her life. Why did Callixa wants to kill the crown prince at that time? What was the problem?

What fault does the crown prince do to her?
