A day later, Rafael and the Callahan knights arrived at the border where the border guards were set up to stop outsiders from entering the kingdom.
As expected, they weren't given a warm welcome even when Rafael showed that he was sent by the king to take over. Rafael paid no attention to the guard's cold reaction to seeing him here and instead led the knights to find somewhere to set up camp.
"If I were them, I would be happy to see us. They are finally getting the extra help they requested, but they aren't happy to see us. Like we have forgotten they sent some of their men to try to convince us to come here," Logan said, keeping an eye on the guards.
He wouldn't put past the guards to try picking a fight with one of the knights. Rafael was normally their target as they attempted to make him act out of character.
