"Father is ready to go so I won't keep him waiting," Annalise said, putting down her fork as she was finished with breakfast.
Phillip had finished a few minutes ahead of her and had been avoiding her gaze because he didn't want it to seem like he was rushing her. The day had not long begun and from the beginning, Annalise hadn't told him what time they were going to leave.
Phillip was ready to get the basket now that Annalise was ready to go.
"You two can go ahead. I will wash up by myself," Celine said, shooing Annalise away so her adventure with Phillip could start sooner.
"I will see all of you later when I return. Rafael and I need to do a bit of shopping for my home so I might be a bit busy when I return. Siena, will you watch over the kitten for me? I'm sorry to be asking you and my mother to care for it a lot when I am busy," Annalise said, knowing it might be a headache to deal with a pet that didn't belong to you.
