Prologue

It was a calm night as the maid walked up the tower. She had done this same routine four her entire long life. " 63 years and I still am stuck with this job" she muttered. She was delivering dinner to the first princess of Deroge. The princess was not that bad but the climb was evil. Then the maid made it to the door and quietly pushed it open. There was no light in the room. "Hey do you want some dinner" the maid asked. "No" said a weak voice from the shadows. "Ok then I will just leave it here" responded the maid as she set down the plate on a near by table. As the maid left she could just hear a "Thank You" as she closed the door. When the maid had left a small hand reached out from the shadows and grabbed the plate. the princess pulled it to her and eat like a wild animal. Fangs tore into the meat as her wings draped behind her.
