Butter and milk. The whole house was filled with the smell of those ingredients the moment I opened the door of our home. However, they still weren't able to overpower the sweet, sweet scent of Emma that never failed to overwhelm my senses.

Like how I did in the past few days, the moment I arrived home, I looked for Emma. That night, I found her busy working in the kitchen. Instantly, I felt an incredible warmth in my heart.

Without waiting for another second, my body moved as I reached out for her. Emma was slightly startled as I gently grabbed her small body and put her inside of my arms.

/"Hello, sweetheart, I'm home,/" I greeted Emma before placing a kiss on her neck. /"I missed you today,/" I honestly told her. Indeed, the whole day, I managed troublesome affairs in the castle. That whole time, I was craving to feel Emma's body on mine.
