Married in the mothers' wombs, this is a story of two individuals and how they overcome the many obstacles life throws at them in a traditional backward country. The next king and his first wife. This is unlike any other classic Indian romance I have ever been across. A lot of interesting things occur in the life of a modern prince and his simplistic wife. A radical prince who wants to break all the norms of society and a simple princess who just wants a normal palace life. Can they survive the world when evil is brewing right in their family? Many attempts to break those two apart by the very woman who got them together and his second marriage put their relationship to a damper but can they manage to stay together?
" Princess! The villagers have attacked!!" a maid opened the door only to find Pari sleeping over Sohit, naked, and immediately, she closed the door. Those guys were so lucky that they had a blanket over them...
The voice didn't seem to have woken up Pari but, Sohit sure was awake now and moving away from her. When he was the more tired one there, he just felt the need of being able to protect her from everything till she rested.
" What are you doing? Get her out!" the queen shouted the maid who gulped and bowed to her
" Maharani, she-" the maid couldn't complete because the queen herself opened the door to see her son sitting up in his place and Pari sleeping next to him. They were both naked. God. What did those two do the night before, now the queen wondered. She would've been happier to find that out if there hadn't been an attack on the palace.
" Sohit," she closed the door behind her and he immediately turned to look at her in disbelief. Was his mother even allowed to walk into his room while he was naked? He was sure that she wasn't allowed...
" Amma?" he pulled the blanket over his body and she sighed
" Get up and get ready for battle. There's been an attack on the South gate and they have advanced to the West gate already. Quick!" she shouted and got out of the room. How embarrassing was that? But she'd rather do that than have those two clueless about the attack on the palace. It was the second time in years and this time, it was by the previous war chief's son. He was hungry for revenge and he was coming for Pari straight. A woman is not allowed to touch weapons, he was going to prove that to everyone. That woman had brought disgrace to his family and for the past 1 year, he had been plotting that treason along with others who didn't believe that women should be behind the stoves too. The army was not made of real soldiers but all those men had that fire burning inside them...
" Hmm?" she shifted and frowned while he just thought through about everything that was happening. Then, he looked at her in fear, kissed her red cheeks as she opened her eyes, and quickly got off the bed, just to wear his clothes back.
" Morning," there was a huge smile on her face as she turned a little and looked at him hurrying
" Get dressed. The palace is under attack," he ordered her and she sat up in shock
" What?!" she shouted and he turned to look at her bruised breasts for a moment and then, just kept staring till she pulled a cloth over it
" Sohit!" she threw a black cloth towards him and it hit right his head
" Right. Get dressed now!! Pari!!" he shouted and looked back at his clothes, trying hard to ignore her as she got off the bed and quickly ran over to the huge bathroom she had
" Don't look!" she shouted from inside because there was no door to the washroom and he turned his head even more away from that place. He wasn't sure that he could even not stare if he got the chance. And he was going to stare at her when he was completely dressed but the door opened again
" Bhabhi did you see. BHAI!!" his brother shouted and threw a sword at him
" Why are you here?" Sohit asked him in his angry, hoarse voice and his younger brother pointed a finger outside
" There's war outside," he said innocently
" I'm asking you, who gave you the permission of opening this door without knocking first," Stepped towards him and suddenly, a white figure covered in cloth came out of the room
" Let's go," she looked at Sohit and then, at Shaurya, " Hello?" she asked both the men there, who were just staring at each other
" Bhabhi," Shaurya answered timidly and Sohit turned to glare at his wife
" Yes. I'm right here. Now, do you want to go out or not?!" she shouted and her brother-in-law immediately made his way out of the room
" You are letting that kid too lose. PARI!" Sohit shouted at her as she walked out and she turned to look at him through her ghunghat
" I let you lose yesterday too. Sohit," she just held his hand and dragged him out of that place as he just kept staring at her in disbelief
" It's different!" he argued and ducked when he felt an arrow coming his way and she looked back at him
" I don't know what you are talking about, Sohit but the palace is under attack!! You need to stop that before starting a fight with me!!" she shouted and shook him up, to bring him out of the jealous husband vibes which he did within a second.
" We're having this talk later," he declared and turned to look at the rival soldiers that were fighting right in front of him.
" WE WANT THAT TRAITOROUS WOMAN!! SHE WILL NOT-" that dead soldier's cry was enough for Sohit to know what was happening. So, he looked at Pari with worry and she looked back at him with worry. A thousand soldiers, all there only and only to hold his wife hostage. All there as a result of revolt to what Pari did the last year. He wouldn't let even one of them even see her face.
" Run to Queen's hall," he ordered her and she pursed her lips. For a second, she was a little hesitant to leave him but it was an order. Although, before leaving him, she did raise her ghunghat for a quick second and kiss him on the lips. Just for a second because there was not much time but he was so taken aback by that move...
" Take care," she ran away from him and as he heard her anklets jingling, he smiled.
