The Village And The General Store

The four of us, Hana, Jean, Mina, and I continues our way to the village. The village people along the way greeted and treated Hana nicely as we passes by to the village square (Man she sure is friendly to others except for me).

We then passed by a shabby old two-story establishment, Hana said that we will sell the items here, for my opinion this place is totally hideous I mean come on you can see thugs everywhere near the place.

"Alright here we are at Bosque we're goin' in".(Hana)

[Zack and others have entered Bosque Village]

"Umm are you sure about this... Umm why don't we have breakfast first".(Zack)

"Look we'll only have enough money for food once we manages to sell your stuff understood".(Hana)

I'm having a totally bad feeling about this.

We proceed to enter the establishment through the old beaten down creaking door. The inside of the establishment resembles a general store that sells random stuffs like bottled herbs, an old wooden table furniture, tableware, armors, scissors, and meat. After a while we are greeted by an old man on the counter.

"Hoho if it isn't Hana, ya went here on a good time our potion supplies have ran out since the wave the other day. Oh! where's my manners it seems that ya have a guest.

The old man move out of it's seat then proceeds to greet us on the front door.

"The names Gandelthor nice to meetcha chum, ohh and ya can call me Gandel instead".(Gandel)

I'm shocked the moment he greeted me and held his hand to me for a handshake. His build resembles a dwarf just like from the fantasy descriptions. Short stoic built, overgrown beards, Scottish accent, oh forget it he's the real deal. He's a real Dwarf.

"What's the matter chump first time seein' a dwarf?".(Gandel)

"Ahh yeah".(Zack)

"Dwarves ain't rare here ya now are toy perhaps a foreigner".(Gandel)

I nodded my head.

"I see, anyway welcome to Gandels General Store how can I help ya?".(Gandel)

"We're here to sell stuffs".(Hana)

"Ohh what kind of goods could it be?".(Gandel)

"I'll be selling some potions while this kid will be selling his stuff, oh and all the money goes to me".(Hana)

"What?. But I'll be selling my stuffs as well".(Zack)

"Duh, of course have you forgotten that you have debt to us".(Jean)

Ughh I hate these guys.

"But wouldn't it be better if we let Zack have some money for his own".(Mina)

"Yeah for my personal use".(Zack)

Thanks kid.

"Fair enough which means you'll be using a part of your own money for your expenses".(Hana)

After that Hana and Gandel proceeds to negotiate about the potions.

"All of that'll be 8 Small Bronze Coins and 4 Medium Bronze Coins".(Gandel)

"Make it 5 Medium Bronze".(Hana)

"Fine you have a deal, after all adventurers had been storming this village lately so this baby's gonna sell like crazy".(Gandel)

Adventurers there are adventurers in this world as well. Man I'm getting pumped up?

"Umm may I ask what are adventurers?". Zack asked Mina

I specifically asked Mina questions because the other two are not that much helpful on explaining stuffs.

Anyway as Mina said adventurers are people who do specific jobs given by the guild. She told me that those people I saw on the entrance are adventurers. These people take quests and finishes them to gain the rewards just like in the mangas.

"Hey Zack whatever your turn".(Hana)

"Ohh coming"(Zack)

Zack proceeds to the counter where Gandel is.

"So what goods do ya got here chump?".(Gandel)

"Umm I got some paper here and I'm also willing to sell this clothes that I'm currently wearing".(Zack)

"Hmm paper you say ehh, well you might get some nice prices here since the demand for paper has drastically increased on this past few months but I'm afraid that I might not be able to buy your fancy garments".(Gandel)

"I see".(Zack)

"Well the value of the paper varies on it's quality. Usually papers can be properly assessed or sold at librarians, clerks or scholars but since none of those are here I'll do my best to give you a fair price. Anyway will ya show me your ware".(Gandel)

"Ahh yes of course".(Zack)

Zack took the papers from his bag and showed it to Gandal on the counter table.

"Here".(Zack)

The moment I showed him my paper he immediately stopped and looking from his facial expression I can assess that he is flabbergasted.

He then proceeds to assess the papers one by one looking precisely through edges, flipping side by side, smelling each of them etc. Man that was a weird sight.

Wonder how much can I get on those pieces of [Oslo Papers].
