Chapter 22: Masti, Part 1
The saree clad heroine pleaded with the hero, but no one heard what she said. The sound of the TV had been muted. They heard Tania's voice instead. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me I ate all the amrood."
The scene shifted to the hero, angry and stern. Harmeet played the hero's part. "Oye how did you? What will I eat now?"
Harmeet's gruff Punjabi accent as a voice over for the candy-face hero of the soap was so comical that Tania burst out laughing. The camera was back on the still pleading heroine touching her belly, evidently to remind him of the life within.
"God has already punished me. See, my tummy's aching," Tania said.
The camera shifted back to the hero, who was apparently unmoved by whatever the heroine had said to him.
"No, no, no. I can't forgive you. You always eat everything. You even finished last night's left-over butter chicken. Look at my face I am starving. And your tummy looks full."
