After the previous match between Roots and Ionaz ended, the arena was filled with an overwhelming heat.
This is understandable. Not only did the three-time consecutive champion Ionaz show his all-out battle, but it resulted in an unexpected upset.
I'm quite excited too, for that matter.
But that's a different story. Even if I think it's selfish, I don't want such battles before my own match.
If it gets hyped up unnecessarily, I'll end up nervous.
"It's getting exciting~ You can't handle battles like that, can you? Well, no one is expecting anything anyway, so don't worry. So please go fight already and lose quickly."
As I slowly headed toward the stage, the staff member was standing in their usual spot, with their usual expression.
