After the shooting that day, Connor returned home, expecting to leave Los Angeles for the next shooting, but was surprised that Meg was not there.
When Meg returned home and saw that Connor was already there, she felt some pressure. Connor would play the male lead in a movie, while she was still struggling to break through in her career, putting pressure on herself and her agent.
After dinner, when Connor was planning to sleep, the phone rang. It was Ellie, who wanted to know how his first day of filming had gone. He was really happy because he knew she really cared about him.
Meg, who was already feeling down, observed all of this but remained calm.
When he returned and saw that Meg was already asleep, he didn't wake her but just went to sleep, knowing they would continue filming.
The next day, the crew left Los Angeles and came to New York to continue the shooting.
The shooting entered a productive state, thanks to Connor, who had the fewest errors. Penny was visibly happy with him and gave him some privileges during the shooting, like letting him return home from time to time. As they became more familiar during the shooting, he told her that he had just confirmed his relationship with his new girlfriend and that he didn't smoke or cause any trouble during the shooting.
As it was the end of January, two months had passed since the beginning of the shooting, and today was the end of filming. It was the scene that Connor had suggested, where they danced at the piano.
After the last shot, Penny shouted, "Here, I announce that the filming of 'Big' is over, and I would like to thank everyone for your help during the past two months, especially our protagonist, Mildas." She was referring to Connor. As he was in the Screen Actors Guild, he needed to use a stage name, and unfortunately, Connor and Connie were already taken, so he registered under the pseudonym of Mildas.
Connor smiled at director Penny, expressing his gratitude, and then said, "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to prove myself, and thank everyone for your help and effort during the filming. It was a good memory as the first movie in my life."
After he finished speaking, the crew cheered, and then director Penny announced that there would be a celebration banquet for the end, and everyone cheered.
After the celebration, Connor returned directly to Los Angeles as he missed Meg very much. During this time, he noticed that Meg was acting a little strange, but he didn't know what had happened.
Upon returning, he didn't plan to take on a new job until 'Big' was released in June, after which he would have more leverage for the role of Harry in the audition for 'When Harry Met Sally' in July.
That day after returning, he and Meg had a wild night.
Upon waking up, he called the bar owner because he planned to continue his job until his movie was released. He would continue training himself, as he planned a singing career after succeeding in his acting career.
Meg was disappointed to hear that Connor planned to wait until his movie was released and would continue to work at the bar, thinking it was just an excuse for him to see that girl.
Later, she overheard him calling that girl and saying that he had a surprise for her, scheduling a meeting at the bar.
In fact, Connor's idea was very simple. Due to being cautious and reborn in a difficult environment, he didn't trust anyone apart from his family. Meg was his first friend and current girlfriend, and Ellie was his second friend and first fan. She gained his trust the fastest because he knew she was a pure music lover and didn't have complicated thoughts about other things. Especially after hearing her tragedy, he knew that what he represented to her now was more of a spiritual support than a friend, a situation between fanaticism, liking, loving, and madness.
