While it was a despairing day, it was beautiful. The summer had flown by quickly, but now it was time for Joseph and his parents to part ways as Joseph was becoming an adult. Joseph went on his way, even more sorrowful. He was worried about his parents, and what they'd do now that he was gone. He wasn't so sure about leaving his parents as much as he did when he was a child.
When Joseph arrived he forgot about the sorrowfulness, he was thrilled! The college was beautiful. Now Joseph also had other things to worry about too. The stress of college, being a newcomer, and whether it would be like it was in junior high.
Joseph got so distracted with his classes and grades, that he never had time to call his parents anymore. He has the persistence and creativity that most students don't have, they just go to college and think it's a gigantic party continuously, having sex with multiple people and not giving a fuck. In reality, it's not the splinter group of students who have worked hard to get where they are.
He made some college acquaintances and had some fun now and then. He mainly focused on school, because he knew that his new "friends" didn't value him enough, so he kept them at a distance. Joseph also worked as well, while being a full-time student. Joseph didn't care how long, and how hard it was, he was going to get his doctoral degree in psychology.
