38 . Thoughts on Renny and Mana ???

POV : MIKAEL

Mikael was curious . Since he came to this world , since he met with Renny and Von , since he learned how the activation of a skill had different processes he remained curious about one thing alone . Magic or mana to be precise

A miracle , an impossibility made possible , the existence of another code that governed reality which he did not know of . And that thought almost maddened him , It almost shattered his sanity for someone such as himself .

To have something but be unable to completely have control use of it was shear madness to someone such as himself and Mikael could net let such a fact stand

Mikael had already booked the rooms after his episode with Rebecca.. A truly strange and curios girl to him but somehow he found himself attracted to her . He had continued flirting as he awaited for Renny to return from his negotiations . 

Mikael easily disarned the sparkle in her eyes as they spoke and the seductive smile she maintained, or was it a teasing smile . She even used one of her most destructive attacks . Slightly lowering the top of her dress to give him a view of her perky breasts and Mikael almost chuckled with how hard she was trying . Or was this natural for her .

He did not think so . She did not give of the natural vibe a natural seductress would have and she lacked a certain aura about her . At best , he found her cute by how good she was doing

With the removal of his implants , Mikael had been able to feel a range of emotions and desire one of them being lust and greed , the desire to conquer . Something that he was feeling now more than his original world . Their Mikael had grown bored with everything about the world and was simply living for one sole goal . It had been easy to keep check of himself but here he could do as he pleased .

But lust was still not something that would impeded him on his journey to Power . 

After Renny had come back and the side mission was finished , they left under the longing gaze of Rebecca to meet up with the other two . Mikael wanted to remain back in his room to unpack certain things but he still followed when Renny insisted for his presence . 

Was Renny being Petty for his earlier blunder from dealing with old Henry . Probably , because after that he refused to talk to Mikael . Or had Renny noticed something he had not . Was he trying to scheme against Mikael . If there was one thing he was sure about a person such as Renny , was that he was a Schemer .

Glances when he thought Mikael was not looking , subtle questions that tried to un earth something , pressuring and entrapment by using his authority or higher stat value . This were all the things Mikael had noticed about Renny . Silent and vicious 

He did at least accomplish the side mission and that was something to be celebrated .

They met up with Von and Zen and all that Renny wanted was to confirm their completion of their side of the mission and that they had acquired the carriages that they would be using . After that , they were free to do as they pleased the whole of today .

But Renny had warned them to always remain vigilant and after that he did not elaborate on more . Was he expecting a possible ambush , the possibility was very much there but Mikael so far had noticed a lack of any of the enemy contestants

They went back to the tavern once again and Mikael directed showed them to their rooms after which he locked himself in his .

And that was why since they had separated , Mikael remained in his well lit room with his eyes closed. The sun gently warming his body into a gentle comfort . Relaxing him further and furhter into a state near sleep . The only lost points for the entire scenario was the horrible bed he was sleeping on . It was not very soft .

He was rested in the slightly good room compared to the others , A fact Rebecca had made sure while giving him a shy smile . 'She really had it bad for him ' Mikael had thought 

One of the reason Mikael choose to assist the Metal skull faction was the prospect of learning about magic . The hint had said it was possible and Mika was expectant . How he was supposed to learn the hint did not say . Was he supposed to learn by himself or was he somehow supposed to be thought by someone .

He definitely was not going to be thought by either Renny or Von .They had made it very clear that he would need to pay up for such things and he'd preferred not to spend to many of his points . So that could only leave an in world character as an only option .

Should he ask Renny about the process ?

' No' Mikael thought . That came with it's on danger . He could be easily tricked or mislead and this could have unfixable results . It was not worth it and the timing was definitely not right . They were a team for this mission they were undergoing but for Mikael to place his trust fully on people he had barely known for a day was shear stupidity .

And that was why he choose the most peculiar option . He would try to comprehend magic by himself . 'The hardest choice i can make ' Mikael thought but it was also the one that excited him most . 

The main reason for this him choosing this route was the presence of his innate ability , SUPREME BODY CONTROLL !!

Did it not allow him to do the impossible , Mikael was expectants of it allowing him to be able to perceive the magic that was present in him . He just had to push himself . 

And that was why he was now meditating on his bed his eyes closed and in a lotus form , searching for a sort of comprehension that he knew would not come easily .

" Hmm Huff " Mikael breathed in and out constantly .His pace was slow but powerful seeking an inner balance within himself for what he was doing required such a state of mind . Calm and balanced .

His main objective was that deep connection that always existed between him and his body . Searching deep within himself . His goal being to achieve a trance like state . To hypnotize his mind to do as he wanted from it in the most effective way possible 

Mikael was in a state of calm , slowly coming to tranquility , like a violent lake about to achieve stillness after a rainstorm .

His reasoning was simple , he wanted to focus solely on magic at this very moment , so he would eliminate everything that tried to interfere in that process .

His raging emotions were the fast to go . The once raging pool was now completely silence , no waves and no movement. A level of stillness that was truly impressive . This was reflected in his features as his expression dulled to that of a doll , like a perfect marble statue .

His sense of sight was next . And at that moment Mikael knew even if he did open his eyes , only a dark black blankness would meet him . A darkness only the blind could know and understand 

His taste quickly followed leaving a strange void that he could not explain . A certain strangness that was hard to put into words .

His smell came quick after . It was like he was not breathing at all . A strange paranoia wished to strangle him but his calm would not allow it . The lake had already stilled . Such unnecessary panic could not disturb it.

His hearing followed and that was when Mika was cut of from the interference from external factors . That was the moment he felt like he and him alone existed in this strange blankness he was finding himself in .

At this moment . When he had lost all his senses apart from the sense of touch . When he was supposed to be deaf , blind , anosmia and aguesia . At this moment when he was supposed to have lost everything , Mikael had achieved everything .

He could 'hear' the movement of everything in his body . He could ' visualize ' how everything worked in his body . He could understand the hidden language his body spoke in . He could somehow comprehend the hidden chemical messengers that farted in his body in a sort of chaotic song .A beautiful song of chaos and order that would never end . And he could feel the warm gentle rays touching his skin in a soft embrace . The last indicator that he was still truly in that old room , lying on that hard bed .

And this all was due to the one thing holding him back from achieving what he wanted . The noise that still persisted was because of one sense . 

Finally , his sense of touch went and Mikael was finally alone . The noise had quitted down to nothing . There was no more background chorus to act as a distraction .

Mikael remembered when he had that talk with Zoe . Right before he entered the terminator random world . How she had told him that activation of skills would use HP,SP OR MP . And he wondered which one his Augmentation used . Or was it all of them .

[[ AUGMENT ]] !

Mikael could not understand what was happening . It was like he was about to glimpse at something and then it disappeared . Like he was touching a glass barrier . A barrier so thin but still posing it's own difficulties in being shattered

[[ Augment ]] !!

It was a frustrating feeling . As if the thing he was searching for was so near but moving further away the nearer he came . But , he was almost close or was he just imagining it ?!! That was impossible !!! Was he going on the wrong route . Was his method wrong 

[[ AUGMENT ]] !!!!! 

Mikael felt it . This was it . it was nearer than ever . he just had to reach for it .!!!!

"KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK "
