The reception wasn't a long one, and that was good. It was time for me to start telling everyone thank you and heading home. Most of the people here I had met before, but I didn't greet them when they got here; Kyle had.
I was making my way through a steady stream of guests, repeating the same words over and over as they left the reception.
"Thank you for coming. I am so happy you could celebrate with us today." It was the response that had been approved of by EZ and Laurell.
I knew there were some Horne family members here that didn't like EZ that much, and in extension didn't like me very much. I noticed one group of them coming toward me right now and tensed just a little. I didn't want to turn into a bitch on my wedding day. That would be a clichè.
