Night Visit (2)

And he was smiling, nodded. They both looked at each other, the atmosphere was in his favor but Malcom, unable to let himself go, walked away and closing the door.

He wished her good night. Skyler was heavily breathing when she felt the door close in front of her.

Once closed, she opened her eyes, looking at the ground. She released a heavy sigh and said with unmasked disappointment, "Why do you have to wait, silly!? You can be the one who takes the first step…."

"What did you say?" Malcom suddenly said while grinning from the other side of the door.

But a terrified Skyler answered, "What?! Nothing! I did not say anything, but good night, Malcom!"

And with those words, they both went to sleep. The morning arrived early. Skyler got up, used to getting up very early to train, and calmly remembered where she was.

Malcom's room was very different, and she had enjoyed that place a lot.
