"Mama, you are welcome", Sade welcomed her mother in - law warmly.

But the old woman is at it again, Sade tried hugging her and she embarrassed her.

A frustrated Sade, walked into her room and burst into tears.

"My wife, do not take whatever mama does to heart. Okay?. By the way mama is spending some few weeks or a month with us", Yinka told his wife.

"I can't live under the same roof with her. I ooo

"Show her some respect. Is it her fault that you can't produce young ones?"

"Is that what you tell me? Huh, Yinka?. You were there when the herbalist told us all that nothing was wrong with both you and I. Weren't you? And you still tell me this? What wrong have i done to you and your family?", she said amidst tears.

"Sade? Come dow....."

"Shhh! Don't tell me to. When ever we go to the stream, other wives speak good things about their mother in-laws. I just listen quietly to them. Why? Because I have nothing good to say about her. Why must my mother in-law be my head ache? I do ask you, why?"

"Sade that wasn't what i meant", Yinka said feeling guilty.

"Am going to sleep, when hungry tell your mother, she would serve you your food", Sade said quickly holding her tears and the lather rushed into her hut.

Yinka returns to their hut after midnight and finds Sade, his wife awake crying.

"Sade?", he approached her.

"I'll be going to my Father's house to celebrate the festival of the

new yam", Sade informed him.

"Sade please listen to me"

"Another thing, I'll like to move back into my personal hut once am back. Good night", she said even before he could let out a word out of his mouth.

Early the next morning, Sade packed her things and left her husband's house leaving a note. " This is to a mother who is my head ache. Why must my mother in-law be my head ache? Think of it mama"
