Chapter 19

A light caress on her forearm made her stir on her sleep. She groaned and slightly moved. She was tired she couldn't even open her eyes. The caress on her forearm didn't stop and goosebumps appeared on her arms. It felt good, she didn't want it to stop. She even forgot where she was for a moment and she imagined that she was in a bed under her covers. She could even smell the lavender she put in her room back at home.

"Lou?"

Livana's eyes snapped open. Her eyes felt puffy from crying before falling asleep and from the lack of sleep. The first thing she looked at was her forearm to see what was caressing it. Kaeleb was drawing patterns on her skin with the tip of his fingers. She was surprised to observe that her hands were still under his shirt, against his skin. She looked away from his fingers on her skin and pulled her hands out of his shirt and over the blanket.
