"I am not her accomplice" Elizabeth retorted harshly.

"Does he know?" Ava suddenly asked.

"know what?"

"That you are pregnant with another man child." Elizabeth was quiet and her silence gave Ava the answer she needed.

"What has happened to you Elizabeth, has wanting to become Queen made you to lose your mind."

"You do not have a child of your own and that's why you don't understand me. If I don't do this, then my child will be known as a bastard and my reputation ruined."

"Who told you that? Mother? That's is not true, your child will never be known as a bastard.

"Yes, of course he will not. Who would dare to call their King a bastard."

"You want your child to one day become King, but at what cost? Is it at the cost of a man who had raised you as his own or will it be at the cost of losing me, your little sister?"
