(End Of The Flashback)

Subaru stood against the wall, his gaze cast downward and his expression heavy with sorrow. He seemed quiet and withdrawn. Beside him, Hanae sat on a chair, her face reflecting the same deep sadness.

The doctors emerged from Hisashi's room, their faces etched with seriousness. Hanae hurried over to them. "Doctor, how is he?" she asked, her voice tinged with anxiety.

The doctor, with a sorrowful expression, shook his head. "His condition is beyond our control. He's awake now, but he doesn't remember anything—he doesn't even remember who he is."

Upon hearing this, Hanae's eyes filled with tears, and her sobs came softly but painfully. Subaru remained where he stood, his gaze downcast and tears streaming down his face.

"Doctor," Hanae began, her voice trembling, "Can I see him? Can I talk to him?" she pleaded.
