BACK AT THE VILLAGE

Early in the morning the prince and his men set out for the village which they arrived a few minutes before noon.Xeris was riding on the princes horse and she wore a cloak that covered her face.

"I can go back to the house on my own from here."Xeris said as the prince helped her come down from the horse.

"No you still cant walk properly and i said i was going to meet them today so there is no difference."Regaleon said looking at Xeris seriously.

"Fine you win on this one but please don't tell them about my injuries i don't want them to worry more than they are."

"Tell me something why do you care about their feelings so much after them hurting you?"Regaleon asked as they walked towards an old pathway that was abandoned.Xeris just kept quite and stared at the sky for a while.

"I don't know really.It could be because i see myself in them or there is that feeling i have that says they are trustworthy and don't deserve to..."

"To go through pain and betrayal?I sometimes get that feeling around a few people.Like you,you deserve to be happy and not go through pain."

"My mother always said that to me when i was in hospital before i came here..."Xeris turned to look at the prince when she heard some movements from nearby.She looked at the bushes without talking when she saw arrows flying towards them.

"...Leon duck!"Xeris said tackling the prince to the ground and falling on top of him.When the arrows stopped firing the two stood up and dusted themselves up.

"Are you alright?I hope you aren't hurt."Xeris asked a little concerned.

"I'm fine lets go before we get ambushed again."Leon said turning into his werewolf form.Xeris also turned to her wolf form but could not stay in that form for long because of her leg.

"Dang it!I cant transform because of my leg."Xeris said in a low tone.

"Lets walk then that way you can keep me safe and i can keep you safe to."Leon said with a warm smile that made Xeris blush.

Both Xeris and the prince reached the house and used the back door to enter the house.

"Okay the prince is in the village and Xeris is missing he will be here any minute and i don't have Xeris which means he will think i lied to him and he will not spare me and i will end up being dead!"Damian said as he paced up and down the living room.Xeris and the prince walked in the living room with their faces covered.

"Damian we have guests."Axel said looking at the two mysterious people behind Damian.

"Sorry but this house is off limits so please get out."Geoffrey said.

"How does it feel when someone intrudes your place without a good reason?"Xeris asked as she removed the cloak.

"XERIS!"everyone called out.

"I'm glad you are alright.Sorry for yesterday i shouldn't have said that with out thinking first.Can you forgive me?"

"If i was in the wrong hands then i would have killed you but since he found me and he constantly insisted i share my story saying it will make me feel better-which it did- I forgive you but next time if you do something like that again..."

"You will have to answer to me personally."Regaleon said finally revealing himself.Everyone saw him and bowed down to his presence.

"Psst Xeris thats the prince you should show some respect."Nana said to Xeris.

"I dont get it?"Xeris said shocking everyone in the room.

"He is higher than you so you should show some respect by bowing or curtsying.Sorry for her behavior she..."

"She what?I asked her not to be formal around me when we are alone or when we are around you guys."Regaleon said.

"Why haven't you ever told us that we have been your friends for a long time and you never said anything like that."Daniel said.

"Because you guys treat him like every other royalty..."before Xeris could finish her sentence Regaleon covered her mouth.

"If i allow you to talk any more you will end up shouting at them the whole day and we need to leave soon for the palace.
