My party look at the huge gigantic door that is 10 times larger than us.
Carlo, the hero, sighs and asks "Tusk, can you push this door open?"
Tusk is our party's tank and he is the biggest out of all of us.
"I will try."
He stands firmly beside the door and pushes with all of his strength. The surrounding floor starts to break and the door did vibrate a little but other than that nothing even after he exerts the strength of all of his muscles.
"No choice then, let's find a lever or something." Says Carlo.
We nod and splits up.
I search under the debris of rock nearby and found a button together with a note.
It is written in blood, saying "Run".
"Hey, I found the button! And a note telling us to run written in blood." I shout.
Everyone laughs and Lily says "Don't worry. We have even done the impossible, what else can we not achieve? Besides, if we don't clear this dungeon, who will?"
Lily is our party's healer...and my crush. With her blonde long and silky hair paired with her emerald green eyes... Her kindness has got to me and she was always the one to lift the atmosphere when we are shrouded by despair.
"You are right," I say and pushes the button.
The cave vibrates and shakes a little. Dust on top falls and I had to sweep some off me.
The door slowly opens and we are allowed in.
We enter and the door slowly closes.
Is this a secret dungeon? Damn it, I don't think I can do much this time either, I'm the only level 31 in our party. The rest are all level 60 to lvl 309, which is Carlo, the hero.
Well, they keep telling me to stay back and take the last hit from the monsters so they mostly get all the exp.
They say it's for prioritizing the strong first. I don't mind that much though.
The room lights up and revealed something like a throne room. There is a red carpet in the middle leading to a majestic chair. There is also a creature sitting on it, but it looks like a statue made out of rocks instead.
The bricks in the wall are blueish, the wooden floor is too. And the torches on the wall and the chandelier are emitting blue flames.
What kind of atmosphere is this?
Carlo walks towards the statue and I wanted to stop him, Tusk prevented me from doing that and gives me a signal to not worry.
Yeah, he is level 309 after all.
He touches the cold statue and suddenly, it vibrates.
"Oh no...Fall back!!!" He shouts and we did so.
The statue is as big as the room which is roughly around 30 feet. It is ridiculously tall and big. Finally, the stone cracks open and reveal a giant minotaur.
"What the heck is that monster..." Reila mumbles, she is our party's archer.
I stare at the minotaur in horror and see Carlo desperately running back to us.
Seeing this sight, I feel something wells up inside me. All this time, I was so useless, but now... it's different.
I will save him!
I run past my party members towards Carlo.
Carlo's eyes widen as he sees me running towards him and smiles.
Afterwards, I push him aside to dodge an incoming attack from the minotaur. It is holding some sort of war hammer and it instantly breaks the floor into two but we survived that somehow.
I helped Carlo up and attempted to run with him but then...
I notice that the smile on his face is not a smile but a smirk...
He immediately takes his sword and cripples both of my legs, leaving me behind.
"ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"
my scream of pain can be heard throughout and I fall onto the floor. My vision starts becoming blurry and I can see everyone...smiling?!
They all looked at me with pity in their eyes and calmly walks away.
What?!
What is this!
Oi! Why are they leaving me behind!!
Why did he?...why did Carlo cripple me!!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?!?!?!!!
The minotaur grabs my motionless body and lifts me.
He holds me up high above as it opens its mouth, preparing to eat me.

...
"What is going on..."
I have no idea what is happening. Too much has happened in such a short time for my mind to process.
But there's one thing for certain:
I am going to die.
...
The minotaur let go and I fall inside his mouth.
I can feel my bone being crushed...
I can feel every part of my body being torn apart...
...
I am going to die huh...
No...i realise it now.
Carlo...betrayed me. He used me as bait while they escaped...
I...why? I at least want to know why they did that? Why did they betray me?....
Lily...are you the same? Did you betray me too?
It doesn't matter now...at least...i can be reunited with my dead family in heaven.
To be honest, dying isn't so bad. Once the pain disappears, it starts feeling comfortable...
Wait...
Comfortable?
I can feel solid ground... it's cold.
I am breathing too?!
I open my eyes and find myself all still intact...
what the hell is this...i thought I die?! No, no no...what is going on?!?
I got up and look around, I am in the same room and the minotaur is gone and I feel slightly stronger...
My mind starts feeling a spiking pain once I try to process what is going on and I fainted soon after.
