Arrival on My First World

I arrive at my first world of which is home to the Kingdom of Revoir. To be frank being tasked to save the world after reincarnating is a huge toll to take. And being that I was labeled the hero of this world.

This is genuinely surprising I was shaking and making cocktails just a few hours ago and now I'm here to save worlds? I don't think I've gone nuts if so give me a straight jacket. If this is a dream it would certainly would not want to wake up now.

First we need to set some basic ground rules for me to follow. One, never mention where I came from unless forced to tell or if its convenient for me to say where I came from. Two, as much as possible I need to be as straight-forward as I could be.

Third, I just realized that I might need to kill people I don't think I could do this alone if I'm honest... Hopefully I would meet people along the way like ASAP. I began walking but before I did that I checked my pockets if I have something important that was given to me by that God.

Seems like a sword, some pocket change, and a booklet. From the looks of it the booklet is filled with basic information about how the world works and how magic is done. Wait, MAGIC?! Hell yeah!

After getting used to the basics of that booklet given to me. I headed towards the Kingdom of Revoir. From the looks of it everyone seems a little tensed.

"Where you from?" Said one of the gate guards.

"I'm just a traveler adventuring by."

"I recommend you leave the kingdom while you can kid. Anyways you can come in if you want to." Said the gate guard.

Leave the kingdom? What is he saying? I just got into the kingdom and they already wanted me to go out? I'll visit the guild check if something's up. I'm sure in these fantasy worlds they must have a guild some where.

I looked around and searched for the local guild and I managed to find one. And I went in and seems like everyone is busy. I went to the reception and asked what is going on to this kingdom.

"Do you know what is happening here miss?"

"Well are you gonna apply as an adventurer first?" Said the receptionist.

"Sure I'll apply for one then."

"Currently the kingdom is in major bad news right now after their war efforts failed to stop the monsters and soon they'll probably come here and wipe us off. That guard wasn't wrong with you he was just trying to help." Said the receptionist.

"Do you have any quests available?"

"If you want to you could try attacking those monsters coming right at the kingdom. The reward is 10,000 gold. You sure you're up for the task?" Said the receptionist.

"Can't be too hard to try right?"

"It's yours then." Said the receptionist.

As everyone looked at me as they hear it. Quite a crowd if I'm honest but since I was tasked by a God here to save everyone in this kingdom. What can I do anyways? While I was walking towards the gate I was approached by a woman in wearing a green robe.

"You going to do the quest? I'm in that quest as well we should team up. My name is Lea and I'm an adventuring magician. You must be new here." Said Lea.

"I am well to be honest I just dropped by and just accepted the quest all willy nilly."

"I see you're a brave one. Anyways you have any plans on attacking the monsters outside?" Said Lea.

"Let's see about that then shall we? Once we get there of course."

"We should devise a plan first before attacking them." Said Lea.

"Can you spot what kind of enemies are we gonna face first. That should be what we need to focus now who are we fighting off."

"Good point. I'll use my sensing magic to tell what we're up against." Said Lea.

She focuses her vision as she looked around at the upcoming group of enemies coming up from the valley in the distance. From the looks of it she's counting them with such precision.

"Seems like we're fighting hobgoblins. They're basically armored bigger goblins. Then we have a couple of magic users there not of human origin. Couple of undead skeletons you can handle them right? You've fought before right?" Said Lea.

"Well fighting, as in fighting with a weapon no... But I've been into fist fights before."

"Geez. I guess this is your first time fighting these fools then. Let's get going then we don't have much time before they arrive at the kingdom." Said Lea.

"I know I'll just have to suck it up and fight then it's not like I picked this job to hold back right?"

"You have a point right there. Though you're still a small fry compared to higher ranked adventurers so let's see your skills in the field." Said Lea.

And so begin my first adventure towards world peace... Well not exactly my forte since I used to be a bartender from the real world who overworked himself 365 days a year. And now I'm here fighting monsters what an introduction into the mess I'm now mixed up in.

And so does my first partner into this small adventuring group that will soon be named the 'Phantom Cat'. That's the name I've came up for the meantime. The God in mind that transferred me here was eccentric and different from what I've expected. And some how he gifted me an ability that will make me stronger and more resilient at the field.

I wonder what made him pick me as his champion to save all of these worlds. For now let's focus on what is happening which is. Fighting these monsters.

"Let it rip Lea."

Thank you for reading this new story of mine about the bar owner of the famed 'Phantom Cat' this is a direct prequel to Cross-World Mixology. I hope you guys enjoy this new book of mine.
