Lisa could feel her heart thump loudly in her ears alongside Lian's statement that threatened to wake her from the paradise that she was currently immersed in.
Lian sensed her hesitation and pulled away to look at her. She had that conflicted look in her eyes that made him gnash his teeth in irritation because she somehow still managed to have her guard up in such an aroused state.
He cleared his throat as he pulled away from her and that made Lisa fully look at him.
"I think we should go and get some rest, we both have a long day ahead of us."
Lian spoke, his voice still abit husky but low.
"Alright." Lisa agreed and walked away, turning to give him one last glance before she climbed up the stairs to get to her room.
Once he was certain that she was gone, Lian groaned as grabbed the bottle of wine and took a huge sip before leaning back against the wall.
