Attempt of abortion

Before they could talk Ryan returned back with the information…

"Bo—" noticing other people were present in the room, Ryan shut his mouth and got seated on the empty seat.

"Who are you?... It's a law abiding place…how can you show the hooligan activities…I should call the police, yes I should do that…WHAT…what are you trying to do?" When Mega's father was speaking Arik reached near him.

"Hahh…you aren't qualified to know my identity. If you weren't her parent then I would have already raised my hand and do the unbelievable. I doubt that you both aren't her real parents." Returning back to his seat, Arik lighted a cigar.

"Nonsense, if I didn't give her birth then who would? Don't make assumptions. Where have you taken her?" Mega's mother was gritting the teeth in frustration while the father lowered his head.

Ryan reached near Arik and whispered "They are Ms. Mega's biological parent. It just that they treat their little daughter better than the first. Ms. Mega was born when both were forced to marry by their parents. Ms. Mega doesn't act coy and not a drama queen compared to her sister."

Arik raised his brows in realization.

"Okay let's put other things aside, tell me why were you forcing her to get married? She said she had someone, why don't you listen to her." the voice was turning cold.

"Why does it matter to you? Who are you to tell us what to do and what not to do?" Mega's mother didn't lowered her voice. She may have anger management issues.

"Dear, control yourself." the husband tried to soothe the wife.

"I won't ask the question for the next time. Answer me." The coldness in the room multiplied by double.

"If she didn't did something wrong then why would we force her. She never had a boyfriend or lover and she is pregnant out of wedlock, who shall marry her? Will you? -No, you won't and none other candidate will. She has destroyed our reputation. We want her to settle before her baby bump appear." The mother spoke out all her frustration.

"Pregnant, huhh? (Massaging his temple and realizing something) How long has she been pregnant?" Arik only heard the word pregnant and it reverted in his ears.

"According to the investigation, she has been seen three times in a nearby clinic. One of her friend is a doctor there. She must be five to six weeks pregnant as the report. Her other matters are clear and have no problem." Ryan spoke in a low voice.

'Five to six weeks…the time was nearby the proposal date. Was Mega pregnant with Brother Neil's child?- If so then…'

"Ryan, find brother Neil's movement in two months." with the task Ryan walked out.

Pointing to Mega's parent, "You both…what was mixed in that glass of water. Don't say you were trying to—" Arik eye widen.

"Yes, whatever you are thinking is true. We wanted her to abort the child. None would want to take care of other child and as a parents, we can't see her alone being a single mother and suffering. We may have pampered the little one a bit more but Mega is our daughter too, we won't let her destroy her life." Mega's father replied in a low voice.

Arik grabbed the man's collar, "How can you decide on your own? You have to ask the child's mother and father before deciding the child's fate? Can't you sympathize with the unborn fetus?" Arik was burning in rage.

"How would we know who the father is? How can we find the wild man who fled away from the responsibility after doing the deed? Mega won't speak about it either. In addition, she is acting weird from few days. " Mega's mother added.

"Enough with the chit-chat. Whatever happened has happened, Mega won't return back to your place anymore. Don't try to harass her or do emotional blackmail in the name of filial pity. Take the amount I paid as the expenditure of her needs and the money you invested in her. So, don't expect anything from her. It will be her choice how she wants to deal with you." Arik stood up and took step toward the door.

"Are you…the father of her…child?" The mother asked with caution.

"Nah, but there is a high possibility that the child maybe my brother's." Dropping the explosive news Arik walked out.

While walking all the way to the rooftop two things were in his mind: One; if the child was okay or not. Will it able to survive? Second; if the child was Neil's or not. Only did he understood that the blood wasn't because of her period but a result of the abortion medication. Shikhar urgency was understood.

He couldn't wait for Ryan's investigation so he checked Neil movement of two month himself.

In first month, Neil had been to Ridi City for few times. Five to six week ago, he had a deal with one of the international company and had stayed for a week. Between that week, Neil had proposed to Mega.

All clues were directed towards Neil. If the girl was genuine with Neil then he didn't have any problem to let her know about Neil's condition but if she wasn't then…it would be the biggest mistake of her life.

Little did he know, the future was going to be a little tricky for him.

On Shikhar's house, Grasal City;

The Heli took less hour than before. Shikar had called his team to prepare for an operation. As soon as the Heli landed, Mega was taken to the the operation room.

The pent house ( farm house) wasn't used only as a resident but was Shikhar's private clinic and also a research center was constructed at two minutes distance. This place was Shikar's personal area.

The operation was more critical and no mistakes should be made. Beside there was a high possibility the child could be of Brother Neil's. With such thought in mind, Shikhar lead the team of doctor and the operation went on for hours.

Shikhar could guarantee that the mother could be fine but the child…no one knew what could happen to the fetus and how much could it effect the mothers' mental health.
