THE COMEBACK

"I'm so sorry about all this Daniel," Anika said.

"It's alright, thanks for the food though," he said keeping it aside.

"No, you have to eat it right in front of me. I know you haven't been eating, look at you, you look like shit."

"I'm fine, really Anika and I have been eating."

"You can't lie to me, I'm your twin so bring out that food right now."

Daniel brought out the food from the plastic bag, opened the container and started to eat.

"Daniel don't worry this will all be over soon," Lisa assured.

"Thanks Lisa, Anika this food is delicious, at least you didn't burn it this time."

He, Anika and Lisa began to laugh, "What do you mean by that, I don't burn food."

"Don't tell me you forgot so soon the other time you tried to cook noodles, the whole house was full of smoke," he continued to laugh.

"Thanks again sis," he said when he was done eating.

"You're welcome."

"And Lisa, thanks for also coming to see me but I don't think I'll be outta here anytime soon."

"Don't say that," Lisa said.

"Yeah, why're you talking like this Daniel. No matter of evidence against you I know you didn't do it."

"Thanks guys, at least you guys trust me but no matter what you think the court is gonna use evidence and a witness, which is suprisingly and most definitely going to be Isabella."

"Talking about Isabella, she's been acting strangely mature and creepy," Lisa said.

"Can you believe she cut off Miss Cuddles' head?" Anika asked.

"Unbelievable, she grew up with that doll and she loved it alot."

"And I don't also know why she called the police on you, the dog's missing and she doesn't care," Anika said.

"That dog is evil Daniel, Lisa told me. I'm not so sure but I think the dog has something to do with all this," Anika added.

"Right now that's the least of my worries cuz I'm so confused right now," Daniel replied.

"We gotta go Daniel, take care of yourself and make sure you eat, sleep and stop thinking, ok?" Anika asked getting up from her seat and Lisa followed.

"Ok, bye."

"I saw him, dark, shadowy figure, red eyes, cleaning a knife. He cut his head off with the knife at first and he told me I was next. When I was in the bathroom as I was about to brush my teeth, I looked into the mirror to see him smiling like always, juggling his head." Mrs. Johnson was freaking out, she rushed all these words from her mouth like she was being held at gun point. Opening her eyes very wide as she explained to the psychiatrist what had happened to her, Mr. Johnson by her side, rubbing her hand so she would calm down.

"So let me get this straight, you saw a man?" the psychiatrist asked.

"Yes."

"Shadowy figure, red eyes?"

"Yeah."

"Holding...a knife?"

"Cleaning a knife at first."

"Ok, he cut his head and threatened he was coming for you -"

"Next, next, that was the word... next."

"Then you said he juggled his head later?"

"Very correct ma'am."

"Uhm excuse me, did you perhaps trip and hit your head somewhere?"

"No, no and NO. I did not hit my head anywhere, like I said before...I...AM...NOT...MAD."

"Did you have any bad dream and in that dream you saw this?"

"No."

"So you just woke up at a very odd hour and say you saw a man cleaning a knife?"

"No, I didn't JUST wake up, he was removing my blanket from my body."

"Are you sure you didn't hit your head Mrs. Johnson?"

"NO, I DID NOT, I have been saying this for the past ONE HOUR!"

"You see what I've been dealing with Ms. Stella?" Mr. Johnson asked.

"Don't worry Mr. Johnson she has to be admitted and put under strict supervision and with time she'll get better. Looks like she's getting a little cranky."

"He's coming, he's coming, he's going to kill, kill, kill," Mrs. Johnson was whispering and laughing.

"Hello please come to my office," Ms. Stella said into her office phone quietly.

When Lisa and Anika got home they couldn't find Isabella and Anika's parents.

"Hello dad," Anika said speaking to her dad on the phone.

"Where are you and Mom and where's Bella?"

"What!....a psychiatrist?..........so that's why I didn't see you guys this morning....ok.....admitted?.....bye dad."

"So where are they and your sister?"

"Mom just got admitted in a psychiatric hospital cuz she's been seeing things and Isabella's at your house with Edwin."

"So sorry about that Anika."

"It's ok, we need to find out what's going on and fast.

Later that night, a policeman came to tell Daniel that someone wanted to see him. Daniel thought it was his mother but when he got there he saw a girl- a lady sitting down, waiting for him. He sat down and asked, "Please who are you?"
