GAME ON

When they parked in front of the police station, still in the car, Anika turned to Lisa and hugged her. "I'm so sorry for what happened. You can call your mom and tell her."

"I don't have a mom," she whispered.

"What do you mean? You told me she travelled."

"It's a long story and I don't want to talk about it right now. Let's just go see why Daniel called."

Anika and Lisa walked hand in hand. When they got into the room, Lisa stood, her gaze fixed on the lady sitting down opposite Daniel. The tears rolled down Lisa's eyes slowly as the lady quickly stood up and hugged her.

"R-Rebecca? Is it really you?" Lisa asked hugging her back.

"Yes, it's me Lisa."

"I thought you were...dead."

"Long story, but I'm glad to see you now."

Mr. Johnson sat in his wardrobe which was slightly open to prevent suffocation, he couldn't believe he was shivering, a full grown man like him to an eight year old girl which was his daughter? He stopped breathing, held his breath for a second and when he saw he couldn't do it anymore, he made his breath more silent. He actually thought the sound of his heart would give him away. He focused on the slight opening of the wardrobe as Isabella stepped into the room still holding the knife.

"Come out daddy, I just wanna play, you can't hide for long you know."

Mr. Johnson searched his pockets for his phone, empty.

"Where is it...oh shit, I left it in the car," he whispered to himself as he watched her leave the room.

"All I need to do is to get to the front door, that's all Michael, I can do this."

"No wonder she's been acting strange cuz the dog's spirit is in her? It makes sense and no sense at the same time," Anika said.

"So that's why she killed my brother?" Lisa asked still crying.

"I'm so sorry Lisa," Rebecca consoled.

"So what do we do now?" Daniel asked Rebecca.

"There's a book in the house, library to be precise, it tells a story of the dog and the book was written as something like a prophecy. That book tells how to stop the dog, I only got to read the beginning and it never said anything about transferring spirits, I think the dog intentionally transferred his spirit into Isabella knowing we wouldn't be able to harm her."

"I read it," Anika said and all eyes looked at her.

"What'd it say?" Lisa asked.

"One of the toilets in the house leads to a room and there was a good spirit in a glass container, the dog poured a magic liquid into it and the spirit turned evil which he summoned into his body and enabled him to have powers."

"Did it say how to stop it?" Rebecca asked.

"There's a knife buried at the backyard, we're meant to stab the dog with it, enabling it's spirit into the crystal at the top of the knife but blood HAS to be spilled."

"I don't think I like that idea, that would mean we have to stab Isabella," Daniel said.

"But first of all we need to get you out of here," Lisa told Daniel.

"Leave that to me," Rebecca answered.

"Wait a minute," Anika stopped, surprised by something.

"What?" Lisa asked.

"Da would be at home by now....with Isabella."
