The Past Relived

Elijah realized she couldn't keep her wondering for much longer. He had to explain things to her if he wanted any peace to digest what was happening. "A zing is a kind of feeling. You wouldn't understand. It's like love at first sight".

Mia looked directly in the eyes of Elijah admiring his looks and fantasizing. She still didn't know why she felt that way but all she wanted was to lay in the hands of Elijah. "Please stop", Elijah said as he could still make out her thoughts and intentions even before she said a word.

After calming down his nerves Elijah asked Mia to follow him. Mia followed him closely. She would occasional get lost in her thoughts as she daydreamed about her new found love. "Where are you taking me", Mia would ask occasionally. Elijah however refused to reply each time she asked. He was still trying to process what was happening.

Mia could see the flower garden far ahead. She could some light flashing through it. "Could it be that her friends made it", she wondered. At about just a stone throw to the garden, Elijah started grunting again. "I knew this would happen, I should have killed them all". "Killed who", Mia asked.

"Run Mia run as fast as you can". Mia stood confused but curious as to why Elijah was so furious. She tried her best but couldn't pinpoint the cause for his sudden anger. "He looks angry and scared all at the same time", Mia wondered. Elijah looked in her eyes. He looked worried. It seemed as if he had seen something that scared him so much.

Mia realized the lights drawing nearer. It looked like a lot of people had entered the garden. She could hear people shouting within the garden. She guessed they might have come there to look for her friends and herself. She decided it was a good idea to respond to their calls. She recognized one of the voices that called out her name. It was Mr. Grater the head of security for the school.

Daniella, Olivia and Isabella had successfully found a way out of the forest into the garden and through the wall back to the school while the beast feasted hungrily on the remains of their friend, Rose. After narrating their ordeal Mr. Grater, he assembled his men and ordered them to follow him rescue the two girls lost in the forest or whatever remained of them.

She heard a loud bang. She could hear Elijah grunting behind her. He had being shot. "Move away from him", Mr. Grater shouted as he and his men aimed and took turns shooting at Elijah as he lied helplessly on the ground. He was bleeding from all around his body. He had sustained a lot of gunshot wounds all over her body.

He gave out a loud roar. His eyes turned red as if someone had intentionally lite candles in his skull. "Run Mia run", he shouted as he roared. Mr. Grater and his men trembled as the earth shook with each word that came out of his mouth as he roared. It seemed as if Mia had grown immune to it as she watched them fall.

She felt something dark covering her up from behind. It was as if the shadow of a tall tree had fallen on her. "There is no moonlight tonight, what could that be". She turned around to see Elijah as he transformed into the same beast she had seen erupt from the concrete slab hours ago.

Mia watched as he grew taller and taller and bigger. His nails turned into claws as sharp as that of a mighty eagle. His fangs come rushing out ready to devour anything that came its way. It had blood dripping from every part of its body. The beast had turned pale again.

Seeing the mighty creature Mia, Grater and his men watched in awe. When he had fully transformed, he pounced on Mr. Grater and his men devouring anyone he could reach. The security offers opened up fire on the beast in a move to subdue it but it was too late. The blood sucking beast in Elijah had once again awaken and this time had the best feast to quench its thirst once and for all.

Mr. Grater and the few of his men left men decided to retreat. When he got the chance, Grater grabbed Mia by the hand in a bid to rescue her back through the creak between the walls.

When the beast realized this he became more aggressive. With his sharp claws, he swatted Grater leaving deep cuts on his face. He let go of Mia's hand out of pain. The furious beast swept Mia of her feet and caught her in its strong furry arms before she hit the ground.

He dashed into the deeper forest as Grater and his men advanced towards him. All this while Mia was lost in a trance. She couldn't digest all what was going on. It seemed too much for her to bear alone.

The beast took Mia to a little Manor deep in the thick woods that surrounded the forest. Still panting and granting, he dropped Mia on the old squeaky wooden floor and fell on his knees. He would occasionally roar and grunt out of pain. His eyes were still red

Mia heard the sound of what seemed like metals hitting a head surface. It was the sound of the bullets falling out of the bullet wounds on his body. They came rushing out as he roared.

When all the bullets had fallen off, the holes in his body slowly healed as if nothing had touched its skin. He finally become calm again. The gruesome beast turned back to the sweet and handsome looking Elijah.

Elijah looked shy. He was ashamed of what the beast had done. He wished Mia had not seen any of that. Mia was still oblivious to what was happening. Elijah knew that wasn't the last he was going to see of Grater and his men.

Mia glared at him and wondered. It seemed like Elijah was two different people fused in one body. One side of him was calm, he wouldn't want to hurt a fly; but the other side, not so much.
