/"Lyric!/"

Arms held me as I screamed and babbled. Oh, my God! That was a hellish nightmare.

/"Lyric! It’s me, Michael. Open your eyes./"

I opened my eyes, glancing around the room. Everyone was staring at me as Grampa and Nana came downstairs.

I buried my head into Michael and clung to him. The nightmare terrified me, and I felt horrible. His words sliced through my brain and heart. It was all my fault.

Michael held me as I repeated the words over and over. Then what I said next shocked everyone. /"I can’t do this./"

I pushed him away as I got up and ran. He ran after me.

/"Lyric!/" Michael chased after me until he reached me, then stopped me.

/"I can’t do this! Because I fell in love with you, I betrayed Daniel! I can’t betray him! It’s all my fault! Because of me, he killed himself!/"
