Boo! A Halloween Chapter

Today is Halloween, and everyone was in full scary mode. Halloween is our thing. We enjoy everything about it. However, my mind lingered with the day.

I couldn’t help it. I thought about Daniel until Michael scared the shit out of me.

/"That’s not funny,/" I said, smacking him.

/"It was a little funny./" He chuckled.

I rolled my eyes at him.

/"You’re a twit./" I sighed.

/"Yeah, but I’m your twit./" He placed his hands on my waist and pulled me close to him. Then he crashed his lips onto mine. I wrapped my arms around him as I kissed him back.

With Michael, even if my mind lingered, it didn’t stay there for long. He knew how to bring it back to the forefront.

/"If you two keep making out like that, we’ll never finish,/" Kaiden said.

/"Oh, we’ll finish in like twenty years, or Grammy may outlive us,/" Kain said.
