The room was full of doubt now. Almost every God besides the handful of Gods Mazaya was close to were questioning her. Luther and his allies created a seed of doubt that was making people forget that for the last 1000 or so years Mazaya had not lost control. Once he was able to discredit Mazaya people would start to submit to his rule and everything else would follow.
They still had a long way to go but the main goal right now was to have everyone in this room questioning what was the right decision. He had people fighting him left to right when he ruled before. If he could get complete obedience from atleast half of the people who rebelled against him during his first rule, that would be a feat he would relish on.
But like always someone couldn't let Luther enjoy his small victory. "Just because Mazaya is unstable doesn't mean we have to accept this." Kye emphasized by throwing the packet of laws on the floor.
Kye looked around with compete disdain. "I can't believe that you guys are letting them manipulate you into accepting a fate that basically makes you powerless unless Luther says otherwise. You've all read through the laws. And like Selina The Goddess of Seduction said early the laws are made for specific Gods." Kye yelled trying to get his point across before hope was lost completely.
He stood up and yelled. "Listen to me okay. You can't just sit down and accept this even with fear. Mazaya is unstable fine. That doesn't mean that we need to accept Luther as ruler. We can.." Kye was cut short by sudden pain.
He looked down to a dagger made completely out of ice pierced though his chest. He grabbed the dagger and Gritted his teeth as he pulled it out of his chest. Glaring up at the perpetrator, he started to say something but his lips were frozen shut, so he was stuck trying to thaw the ice instead of voicing his opinion. .
Boreis The God of winter just laughed. "You were boring me so I thought I could living this up A bit. Anyways now that all attention is on me I think it's time for me to have the floor." Boreis said while giving a gorgeous smile to The Goddess of elements. She blushed. Boreis had snow white hair with bright blue eyes and pale skin that helped add to his beauty. He may have been a second tier God but he still could hold an audience.
"Now I'm just wondering. By a show of hands how many of us can calm down Mazaya if she, hmmm how can I put it? Oh yes decides to have a tantrum?" Boreis asked while looking around for raised hands. He had his hand holding up his chin with his elbow on the table like this was the most interesting meeting he had ever attended.
Everyone started to look around to see who had their hands raised. There were only a few Gods who raised a hand. Boreis looked at the 4 people who's hands were raised and raised an eye brow. Exodus and Luther were the obvious ones but The God of Fortune was a complete surprise. He already assumed that The God of light would say he could. All Boreis could do was roll his eyes while freezing The God of pain and sufferings drink.
As Algea The God of pain and suffering looked up at him with a menacing smirk, Boreis froze Algeas hands solid before teleporting next to The God of Fortune. "So let's here your story how did you do it?" Boreis got straight to the point.
The God of Fortune just looked into the distance before downing his drink. Shrugging "Good fortune." The God of Fortune said nonchalantly.
Boreis just started at him. "Good fortune?" He asked dumbfounded. The God of Fortune just shrugged his shoulder again.
Downing one more drink he said mockingly. "Everyone seems to forget that Im not the God of Fortune. I can't tell the future. I'm the God of Good Fortune. Im lucky, not a fortune teller. I guess people forget that since Mazaya thought my name would be better without the good in it." He looked at the actual God of Fortune and smiled.
