I stared into Yasaka's eyes for a good few seconds in silence until I decided to ask what exactly is going, for her to ask me to do bodyguard work means that something extremely serious is going on "a bodyguard assignment? that's rather odd... what's going on Yasaka?".

Yasaka smiled at me and then sighed "well... the destruction of the Hayashi has been made officially public, the Shinto Gods stopped running around like headless chickens and announced the disappearance of the Hayashi Clan which on hindsight was a very bad decision".

I raised an eyebrow at that, to be honest I stopped paying attention to what was happening around the fact that I destroyed the Hayashi Clan since one, I really couldn't care less and two, the Shinto Gods were just confused and lost on what to do and didn't seemed like they were going to do anything about.

But it seems that the destruction of the Hayashi has been made public and that has brought a lot of issues, Yasaka then continued on "the Five Principal Clans of Japan have begun to fight over the vacuum of power left by the Hayashi and its turning into a bloodbath".

Now I understand what's going on, memories and information about these so called Five Principal Clan rushes into my head from the original Rean's memories and most of it pisses me off quite a bit.

Like the Hayashi, these clans were bigots and quite frankly ignorant and often cruel to every non human and even to their members as well, the fact that they exile any members born with a Sacred Gear and often times even hunt them down like animals should let anyone understand how horrible these people can be.

Though as far as I know both from the memories of the original Rean and mine on the series, the current Heirs and heads of these Clans are trying to change the outlook of these Clans.

I closed my eyes "a bloodbath?... I'm guess that all of this is kept a secret from the current Clan heads correct? otherwise they would have put a stop to this right away".

Yasaka tilted her head in confusion "that's right but I'm surprised you know about it all".

I opened my eyes and smiled at Yasaka "I might have forsaken the Hayashi and killed most of them but I still remember their lessons and teachings, me and Rika knew about the Five Principal Clan from a young age... the Himejima, the Shinra, the Nakiri, the Kushihashi and the Doumon".

Yasaka smiled brightly at me "ah so you know about them already! that's great then I don't have to explain much but yes these Five Principal Clans are famous for housing the Five Sacred Beasts Spirits".

I nodded since I already know that "Suzaku the Crimson Phoenix, Genbu the Black Turtle, Seiryuu the Azure Dragon, Byakko the White Tiger and Ouryuu the Gold Dragon, each one specializing in one of the eastern elements Fire, Water, Wood Metal and Earth".

Yasaka clapped "yes! it's amazing you know so much about this, I'm guessing the head of the Hayashi taught you all of that?".

"Yeah back when I was a kid and he was trying to make me the Heir of the Hayashi, he would often tell me that the power and energy of the Hayashi was far more powerful and potent than any Beast Spirit and their flimsy elemental powers and given how powerful Stardust Energy is, he made a good point much to my disgust for agreeing with that fool".

Yasaka slightly frowned and grabbed me hand "sorry Rean, for a moment it skipped my mind that you hate your Clan but your right Stardust Energy and the Dragonic eyes of the Hayashi Clan made it them most powerful Clan in Japan and the envy of the Five Principal Clans, the fact that the Hayashi were given more prestige and power for those abilities made them hated by them... however they were also feared for that same reason and the Five Principal Clans never dared to move against them".

I sighed "but now that it's been announced that they're gone it has become open season for all of these fame hungry clans... and don't worry Yasaka, I know you didn't mean anything by talking about the Hayashi".

I reached over and begin to play with her fox ears which made her smile "yes and if it was kept between them then me and the Yokai Faction would've have been more than happy to let them wipe each other out but they began to target the members that were exiled from these clans because they were born with no Supernatural power in an effort to truly destroy them and make sure no one can claim the headship of these Clans once they attack the head of the Clans".

I narrowed my eyes "they're going after mundane people? how is it that the Shinto Gods are allowing this?".

Yasaka sadly frowned "our patron Gods tend to not want to get involved in the lives of Mortals and are content with just watching everything going on... we the Yokai Faction only follow them because of their blessings and because we're allowed to live in Kyoto".

I raised an eyebrow towards Yasaka as I came with a realization "... that why your building shrines and temples for the Legendary Pokémon your slowly trying to pull apart from the Shinto and be under the Protection of the Legendary Pokémon who are Gods and are quite capable of killing off the Shinto Gods easily".

Yasaka's ears droop and nodded "I hope your not mad but I and everyone in Kyoto love the Pokémon and much rather pray to them than the Shinto who are never there to help us... you saw it during the attack on Kyoto right? the never once lifted a finger to protect us but the Pokémon did!".

I smiled at Yasaka and gave her a headpat "I'm not mad and I certainly do not mind that my Legendary Pokémon are worshipped, they're certainly way better Gods than any of the ones in this world just make sure you tell them and be honest with them, like any God their rage and wrath is not to be taken lightly especially from my Pokemon".

Yasaka smiled and me and nodded "don't worry, I spoke about this with Lugia and Ho-oh already and began to speak with the rest of the Legendary Pokémon they all agreed to it already and we're beginning to build bring down old unused Shrines and Temples to rebuild new ones for them".

"That's great, my Legendary Pokemon are sure to love a place where they can go and rest in Kyoto and I'm sure they will all give their Blessings to the people and Yokai living in Kyoto".

Yasaka nodded "yes! but first we have to be careful of the Five Principal Clans, now that they're at war they might take that as a go to go after Yokai, were not very much liked by these Clans... and that is very worry some plus like I said they're beginning to go after exile members of their Clans... that's why I came to you for help".

I nodded to Yasaka and continued to give her a headpat which she seems to enjoy quite a lot "alright then, tell me what going and I'll do my best to help".

Yasaka smiled and the proceeded to explain what's going on "alright one of these exile member of the Nakiri clan from about 30 years ago went to become a very powerful politician in Japan, so much in fact that the Nakiri Clan tried to get him back into the Clan, of course he decline them and has instead been working with us the Yokai Faction for a peaceful coexistence between the Yokai and Humans, in fact he's the reason we have many humans living in Kyoto among the Yokai and he even helped get permits for us to build the Silver and Gold Towers".

"He sounds like a good man, the fact that he's willing to work with the Yokai and have a peaceful community in Kyoto speaks volumes about him".

Yasaka cheerfully nodded "yes his experience as an exile pushed him to become the man he is today, when he was exiled he was not even 10 years old, at the time he was found by a kind Kappa couple and he was adopted so he lived among Yokai and learned that not all of them are monsters so he went out to try to make life better for us and humans"

Yasaka the giggled "those two Kappa used to work in my Palace but retired to raise him, they even introduced him to me and he treats me like an older sister!".

I'm already liking this man and as Yasaka continued to explain I couldn't help but already be looking forward to meeting him "but because of this he is a potential risk for the Five Principal Clans, if he were to somehow raise in power and take control of the Nakiri he would changed everything and that's not something they would allow... Nakashima Isamu has become the prime target of the Five Principal Clans and so has his only daughter Nakashima Kaede who already has been attacked multiple times...".

Damn that's not good, since they can't get to him their starting to target his daughter "usually he would leave it to his professional body guards but in the last attack they came in using magic and the bodyguards died trying protect Kaede... the poor girl blames herself for their deaths and has withdrawn herself from everyone plus she was unaware of the Supernatural since both her father and mother kept her away from it, so she's shocked at what she had seen during the attack".

I sighed *damn it all... why did these assholes had to go after her? especially when she had nothing to do with the Supernatural, I can't even imagine what is going on in her head right now*.

Yasaka took my silence and a sign to continue "Mr Isamu and his wife Hanako are both concern not only for her safety but for her emotional health so they came to me for help, you see Kaede is about Rika-Chan's age so last time Mr Isamu was here he bought her a few Pokémon Plushies and took photos of the Pokémon roaming around and she has become enamored by them".

I raised an eyebrow "he came here? and he even went to the shop? I hope he enjoyed himself".

Yasaka giggled and nodded "oh he did! he came here to talk to me sometime ago about locations to build the Silver and Gold Towers and afterwards I took him to the shop, he has quite the sweet tooth so I thought I would be a great idea to take him there".

I chuckled in amusement at the idea of a high profile politician enjoying our Pokémon theme snacks, foods and pastries, Yasaka then continued "so when he asked for help he asked if we could send a few Pokémon to help protect her along with someone close to her age to aid her now that she's cleary suffering from guilt and protect her but I told him that the Pokémon wouldn't listen nor take order from anyone other than you, sure they listen to us but I doubt they would listen to me if I asked them to help me with this without telling you first".

*Well yeah the Pokémon usually listen to the girls but for big orders and assignments like this one they wouldn't do anything without my input first and the girls know that which is why they don't try it*.

Yasaka then went on "Mr Isamu already has a plan to make the Five Principal Clans stop going after him and his family or rather after anyone not involved with the Supernatural but in order for him to focus on his plan he needs to be sure that Kaede and to some lesser extent Ms Hanako will be safe".

I tilted my head "he isn't worried about his wife?".

Yasaka grinned and nodded "that's because Hanako is an Oni and she's not someone the Five Principal Clans want to mess with, attacking her would mean declaring war against the Yokai Faction but Kaede and Isamu are targets because they technically belong to the Nakiri Clan via blood".

"I see... so because Kaede is a half Oni and Half human they're even more inclined to go after her... I really hate these old Japanese Clans and their bigoted attitude towards everything non human".

Yasaka nodded "plus Kaede hasn't shown any sort of Supernatural power, it happens sometimes with the offspring between a Supernatural being and a human but perhaps her power as a half Oni is dormant no one really knows which is why she's been kept away for the Supernatural world... this world is cruel with those of mixed blood".

Thats true, Serafall has told me before that even in Devil society, Half Devils and Half Humans are looked down upon and even abandoned at times, the less is said about the Vampires and even the Fallen Angels the better.

It truly is a horrible way of thinking luckily that sort of mentality is starting to change and those with Mixed Blood are beginning to be somewhat accepted, not much but baby steps.

Yasaka stayed silent for a few seconds and then continued on "most of my Yokai don't know the first thing about behaving like a normal human plus most of them are hundreds of years old and any young Yokai is not powerful enough to keep Kaede safe... Tiona, Tiona and Artemis aren't used to modern society yet so I can send them either, did you see what they did to the DVD Player!?".

I sweatdropped because yes I did, the twins and Artemis couldn't figure out how to make it work and proceeded to beat the circuits out of the poor DVD player *may the love of Astraea guide you to the afterlife DVD player...*.

I heard Astraea giggle in amusement from my prayer while Yasaka continued on "the others aren't working with us as Monsters Hunters plus they're busy with the Pokémon, the Shop, school and what not so my only choice is to ask you to protect Kaede until Isamu can deal with the Five Principal Clans".

I nodded andthen hummed "you said that Kaede knows about the Supernatural world now right? I don't want to make her condition worse".

Yasaska nodded "yes... after her last attack both Isamu and Hanako had to explain her heritage and why they were going after her, one of the reasons she's in the mental condition she is, is because she can't understand why some Clan she never heard of before wants her dead and the fact that she's half Oni just added to her poor soul's turmoil...".

"I see... alright I'll help plus I needed something to do while we wait for the Peace Talks, don't worry Yasaka I'll make sure to keep Kaede safe so where I'm a going?".

Yasaka brightly smiled and then proceeded to tell me where exactly in Tokyo the Nakashima live and where does Kaede go to school too and soon after she informed me of everything, I decided to leave today to keep an eye on my ward and observe her for a far for a bit.

So after me and Yasaka informed everyone that I'll be gone for a while and they of course told me to called them if I needed help, I went to my room and got ready to go do this Bodyguard job and to keep an eye on Kaede during the weekend.

When Yasaka spoke to me about the Bodyguard job it was around noon and by the time it was 2 PM I was already ready and on my way to Tokyo, it didn't take me long to get there and immediately headed to the address that Yasaka gave me.

It was a very normal looking house, one you wouldn't expect a High class politician to live in, of course it was surrounded by tall walls and a gate but over all it was pretty much a normal house.

Through even from afar I could see that security was very heavy and I could recognize the security detail all around the walls of the house plus they also had a very sophisticated security system with cameras and what not.

Even outside of the wall surrounding the house there were security guards dressed as civilians walking around, it seems that security has been increased and they were all in very high alert.

The thing is that this sort of security wouldn't do anything against magic users, especially those of the Five Principal Clans who specialize in elemental Manipulation via use of the Onmyōji magic system.

These sort of defenses wouldn't do squat against someone who can use Wood, Metal, Earth, Water or Fire offensively, still I can understand their need to go through all of this.

Even from the tall building where I was watching all of this going on I could tell there was this tense atmosphere around everyone, it seems that they knew that they couldn't do much against the Supernatural but they were still willing to put their lives on the line for the Nakashimas.

That spoke volumes of the dedication of these body guards, I then took a look through the windows of the house to look for the family living there, I found Isamu sitting in what I believe is his office.

This man had a kind smile on his face as he work on some paperwork and has black eyes and black hair, he's also wearing a white dress shirt and black slacks.

He seemed relaxed as he worked, my guess is that Yasaka already informed him that I was on the way and that allowed him to relax and calm down which is good.

I then looked down onto the first floor and found Hanako Nakashima cooking something in the kitchen, now despite being informed of her true nature as an Oni she looked completely normal right now.

The only thing that might hint to her Supernatural true nature was her Red hair and eyes, though right now she was smirking and seemed to be having fun cooking I could also tell she was decently strong, at least in the high end of the High Class rank.

However as I moved my sight around the house I couldn't find the third person who was supposed to be living here and the one I'm meant to protect, it was weird that she wasn't at home and that made me feel rather concerned.

I was given a picture of Kaede by Yasaka so I know what she's supposed to look like, like her father she's has black hair but her Oni blood manifested on her eyes which took on a red color like her mother's.

In the picture she was smiling widely and seemed to be very happy and if I didn't know about her Supernatural blood I would have thought she was just a normal Japanese highschool girl.

But she wasn't a home right now and I doubt anyone knows she's not there otherwise everyone would be in a panic looking for her right now so that leads me to belive that she snuck out not that long ago.

*She has to be close by...* I hummed for a few moments before activating my Aura Sense and scanned the entire neighborhood.

Soon enough my Mini Map had everyone and everything registered and within it on some sort of park I found a small green dot just standing there, given that green signifies allies then that must be mean that the green dot is Kaede.

I stayed there for a few moments staring at the Mini Map but since the green dot started moving I decided to go to the park where Kaede is located and see for myself what she was doing.

And so I disappeared in blur from the building where I was keeping a look out and directly towards where Kaede is.

Kaede had been feeling rather sad and scared lately but could anyone blame her? she was attacked by a bunch of crazy people throwing stone and mud attacks at her in attempt to kill her for some reason.

Many of her bodyguards died protecting her that day, people she grew up with, people she had known since she was a child, she even knew their families and had even been there when those man who protected her got married and had kids.

So she was heartbroken when they died, she had apologized to their families but those kind wives and kids didn't blame her but she blames herself.

But all of that was made worse when she found out why those people came after her, apparently her dad used to belong to their Clan but him being born without their so called special magical power was enough for them to exile him and abandoned him to his luck.

Such horrible people was what she thought about the Nakiri when her dad told her about them, now however they wanted him back because he had made a name for himself as a Minister of Japan and him saying no had pushed them to go after the thing he loves the most.

Her, she didn't blame her dad for saying no to them since she herself would have done the same but that still lead to the death of many and the fact that it also led to her also finding out about the Supernatural and that she wasn't human to begin with just made things worse.

How was she supposed to deal with all of this? she was half Oni and her mom was apparently an Oni herself and even her dad was raised by two Kappas, she had always though her grampa and grandma were odd but to think they were Yokai? all of it was a big shock to her.

She just didn't know how to deal with all of this, she couldn't even stay at home right now, not when she felt suffocated and on the brink of a breakdown so she snuck out from her house.

It wasn't hard to do so since she had a hidden hole on the surrounding wall she had used before to sneak out, she knew she shouldn't be doing this especially when she's a target but she just couldn't stay at home.

Suddenly she didn't know why or even the reason for it but she tense up, in a panic she looked around and noticed the area around looked weird even the sky had this purple tint to it and all of this left her quite confused.

Suddenly a voice showed her that she wasn't alone anymore "well, well, well if isn't the abomination... the half breed that continues to tarnish our name, we have been looking for you but to think that we would find you here relaxing under the sun..."

Kaede flinched from the pure vitriol in the man's voice and the way she called her a half breed "... your from the Nakiri Clan...".

Kaeded looked at the man in front of her, he was tall and dressed in traditional Japanese robes but the cruel sneer on his face made her feel really afraid, even when the man before him had the same black hair and eyes as her father she felt utterly hated by his look alone.

The man glared at her as more men began to walked out from behind him "at least you know the name of the clan your existence continues to insult, consider yourself lucky that we need you alive otherwise you would have been taken care of like any other half breed..".

Kaede's red eyes teared up having never heard anyone talk to her like this before hurt her and she just couldn't understand why these people hate her so much, she has never done anything to them before.

The men behind the Leader of the group in front of her began to surround her and she began to tremble in fear, especially when they began to take out Katanas and Naginatas *I-I shouldn't have sneaked out of that house... I'm sorry dad, mom...".

But suddenly a strong voice echoed throughout the entire area alarming everyone "you people from the Five Principal Clans are truly monsters, to talk to someone who just found out about the Supernatural world like that... what a bunch of bastards".

Every men tensed up and looked up, Kaede herself looked up as well and gasped in surprise and awe, right above everyone, flying in the sky and glaring at everyone was a young man about her age.

Kaede had never seen someone like this young stranger, his dark purple hair and glowing purple eyes gave of a sense of power and danger and it seems like she wasn't the only one who noticed this since all the men around her tense up and began to step back in caution.

The young man floated down and softly landed on the ground with his feet, the man who had said so many horrible things to her spoke up "who are you!? you obviously know who we are so you must know not to interfere with Clan business!".

The young man suddenly glared at the rude man who just yelled at him which caused him to gasp and involuntarily step back "my name is Rean and I don't have to explain myself to you, I also definitely couldn't care less about your clan and its business as far as I'm concern your all nothing but bigots and heartless assholes".

Kaede flinched upon hearing Rean's words, her going on a private all girls school had not allowed her to ever being around men her age much less hear such rude language but right now she decided she didn't care much and just watched on.

The man who had been so rude to her looked mighty afraid for some reason she didn't understand in fact he was sweating something fierce and so were the rest of the people who came with him.

That still didn't prevent him from speaking rudely to Rean and Kaede didn't understand why he would do so when he was cleary afraid "listen young man, run along and forget all of this or we might have to be forced to deal with you!".

Kaede became afraid for Rean, she didn't want anyone else to get hurt because of her but before she could say anything Rean turned her gaze towards her and smiled at her.

That smiled calmed her down and for some reason she got the feeling that Rean was telling her to trust him so she did, Rean then returned his gaze towards the rude man "Gible! Turtwig! come to me!".

Everyone widen their eyes as two white flashed of light materialize in front of Rean and then when they dissipated two small creatures were left where the lights had flashed from.

Rean then smiled and then spoke "it's time... evolve guys".

Suddenly the small green turtle and the little shark with feet roared to the sky and began to glow with a blue soft light that began to swirl around them, Kaede stared in shocked silence as the two small creatures before her began to change and grow before her eyes.

A few moments later the creatures before Rean stopped glowing but they had obviously changed, first of all they weren't small anymore and they look completely different from the small and cute shape they used to have.

But to Kaede they still seemed cute, powerful and certainly intimidating but to her they were adorable, she then noticed Rean grin "Gabite, Grotle get ready for battle!".

Both creatures then growled and their stance changed which made the men surrounding Kaede tense up but she wasn't afraid instead for some reason she wanted to see this adorable creatures battle.

I had arrived to where Kaede was roaming around the park and watched over her as she was lost in thought and seemed to be pain, even from where I was keeping an eye on her I could tell she was suffering.

I can't blame her though, everything that happened to her and all the information dumped on her is enough to overwhelm anyone and the fact that up until recently she thought she was nothing but just a normal teenage girl just made thing harder for her.

The fact that she is the same age as both Koneko and Rika made me feel bad for her, I mean Rika herself wanted nothing to do with the Supernatural after she found out about the Hayashi and our heritage so I can only imagine that Kaede is going through something similar.

Still for a half Oni she was small, not Koneko small mind you but around the same size as Serafall, so I silently watched over her as she pondered and tried to understand her situation.

But life always has a habit of throwing stones in our way and as soon as I saw a barrier being put up around the area where Kaede was sitting and I just knew that she was about to get attack.

I was proven right when a group of Onmyōji appeared out of nowhere and one of them began to spew his hate filled words towards Kaede who looked afraid and confused.

So I teleported right above everyone and not longer wanting this asshole continue to speak and let my presence know of course the Nakiri Clan member tried to intimidate me and scare me away.

But he could clearly feel my power level, he might not be able to sense its nature or the extent of it but he can clearly sense enough to be afraid, he tried false bravado and he even threatened me into leaving.

But I know him and his cronies weren't worth the effort so I called two of my new Pokémon, a few days ago they had reached Level 100 and they were just training on a few Pokémon moves I taught them before evolving and now was the perfect time to do so.

So after calling Gible and Turtwig to me and having them evolved they were now ready to face off against this asshole "alright! I really don't like any of the Five Principal Clans much less the reason you all have to suddenly begin to fight amongst each other but I'm not about to let you do whatever the hell you want to innocent people!".

Gabite and Grotle roared at the Onmyōji before them while my purple energy flared around my body making the Onmyōji tense "none of you will be living here alive! Gabite! Dual Chop! Grotle! Leaf Storm!".

Gabite growled and took off running at high-speed, he blurred and then appeared in front of the Leader Onmyōji with his claws engulfed in Dragon Type Energy.

Before the Leader Onmyōji could even blink Gabite lashed out with two powerful chops with his Dragon Type Energy engulfed claws, one Chop hit the Leader Onmyōji on the neck.

With a wet and loud crack the Leader's neck snapped but even though he instantly died Gabite continued with his attack and chopped him one more time, this time he hit him on the chest.

The blow was so powerful that it sent the Leader's dead body flying backwards and slamming against another Onmyōji who died on impact as well, Gabite roared and stomped his feet on the ground in victory.

Grotle's body was engulfed with Grass Type Energy he then stomped on the ground with his from feet and shot forward a tornado of sharp glowing green leaves.

The leaf tornado rushed forward and hit three Onmyōji and took them on a trip inside the leaf tornado backwards until the Grass Type attack crashed against a couple of tree on the park dissipating the attack and leaving three male corpses on the ground.

That left four Onmyōji who now looked terrified, one of them then began to rant at me "are you insane!? do you have any idea of what your doing?! the Nekiri will go after you and your family for this!".

I narrowed my eyes at this Onmyōji "I wish any of you fools would actually try, it would give me a reason to kill you all... just like I killed all of the Hayashi".

Now that made the remaining Onmyōji panic and the one who ranted actually paled "your lying! how could a brat like yourself do that! there's no way you could have done so! no way!".

I just grinned at him "then how would I know that the Hayashi are gone? that their entire clan compound is now a massive forest?".

The Onmyōji shook his head in denial but then began to realize the truth of my words "... the Five Principal Clans have to be informed of this! they have to know!".

"Too bad you won't have the chance to do so "Gabite Dragon Claw! Grotle Energy Ball!".

Gabite immediately rushed forward with his claws once again glowing with Dragon Type Energy this time the energy took the shape of a sharp sickle, Gabite Zigzaged around the three other Onmyōji and bisected them in a blink of an eye causing them to scream in pain before dropping on the floor dead.

Grotle gathered Grass Type Energy in his jaw, the energy coalesced into an orb and once it was big enough Grotle fired it towards the last Onmyōji who tried to run away as soon as he saw his other three allies died.

But he didn't even get take step forward before the Energy Ball crashed against his back and violently exploded with a blast of green energy killing the Onmyōji instantly.

I sighed and shook my head "these guys always rant... I wonder if it's something they learn in the clan, oh well now...".

I turned ny head towards Kaede who flinched the moment she noticed my gaze on her "mind explaining to me why you aren't at home?".

Kaede didn't know why but she couldn't help but gulped especially since she knew that she had messed up, still she couldn't help but wonder just who Rean is and why he was here.
