Fenice Escapes

Fenice was taken aback when her arrows failed to reach Teacher Artemis.

Tygr rounded upon Fenice, his face full of cold anger. "Have you fallen so low that you would not even spare the daughter of your own flesh and blood?" he thundered.

Fenice glared at him, her eyes blood red by now. "What do you know, you jerk?" she shouted. "You come here now and pretend to be a good father – do you even know how I had to bring up this ungrateful girl by myself? And now she goes and betrays me simply because you have turned up and she's found that she has a half brother?! I don't need an ungrateful daughter like her who doesn't know the first thing about filial piety!"

"And Artemis doesn't need a vicious mother like you, either!" Tygr said coldly, his fists clenched with anger. "I was going soft on you just now for the sake of our daughter – but you have left me no choice, Fenice," he said.
