Chapter 16 - Overseer Firespark

Click.Click. Robert nearly cried over the loss of money after Bobby and Robert ran out of gun bullets at the end of the fourth floor but the gains were big too. Four levels for the clear reward and about 4000 berry and 1 level was earned after killing the imps.

" Is it finally over Robert?" Says Bobby in a expecting voice.

"I don't think so. Look at the portal it is at least twice as big and why does it have skullls decoratred around it?" Says Robert while pointing at the skulls looking grusomely similar to a humans.

"We don't go-o in the-ere right Robert. Did you already forget that we came this far by using the long range of your guns?" Stuttered Bobby with fear in his voice. Smack. "Oww" exclaimed Bobby while holding on to his right cheek with a red handprint on it.

"Stop being such a coward already! It is not like you didn't anything. Party member status screen" says Robert.

Bobby frowned in confusion because he couldn't see his status screen. What do you me - Ahhh" says Bobby before his sentence got interupted by moans of please as a warm energy invades his skin and bones.

"Stop that man. It gives me chills since I don't swing that way." Says Robert he smiles arkwardly.

"Whatever you just did do it agian" Says Bobby with drool dripping down from from his chin.

"I can't at least not right now but I made you twice as good a meat shield as before." Says Robert trying to hold his mask but smiled with his eyes.

Bobby disregarded his comments about being cannonfodder agian while he says expectingly. " So I did get stronger?"

Robert gave a serious nod before answering "Yes I..."

Bobby interupted his by raising his hands in the air triumphantly and cheering "Yes"

Taking Bobby be surprise Robert lifted Bobby with ease in his demi-human form and passes through the portal.

"W-wait" Says Bobby flustered

"Too late" comments Robert with a smirk.

Taking a look at his surroundings the cave like structure didn't change but Robert notices a Imp at least twice as big as a normal imp stand with his back turned towards them. The imp held a big shield in it's left hand but had no armor on unless a loicloth counts. As replacment for it's missing right hand it wielded a massive meat hook.

'Know your enemy and you might win one battle' thinks Robert while his senses tell him the imp is his biggest foe yet.
