Buying a pen

As I raise my muscular arm upwards and focus on leaving the dungeon, I feel the illusory barrier begin to shatter around me. The sky starts to crack into countless pieces, and the silent environment, where occasional zombie moans could be heard, vanishes, replaced by a busy street.

Suddenly, I hear a loud horn. "Beeeeeeep!" Immediately afterward, a large truck's brakes screech loudly, causing it to slide awkwardly on the asphalt, smoke billowing from its big wheels due to the sudden braking.

I look to the side and see a civilian inside the truck, his face twisted in anger. "You idiot! Are you trying to get yourself killed? If so, jump in front of another truck, because I'm too poor to pay compensation to your family, you little piece of shit!"

I smile at him and say, "Sorry, sir! It wasn't my intention." My voice comes out deep and masculine, much stronger than the man's inside the truck.

After looking at the man's name, I shake my head and don't wait for a response. Instead, I start walking through the streets of Seoul; after all, I need to buy a pen. Moreover, I only have dollars, and I'm sure someone here would accept my currency.

As I walk through Seoul, I notice that the capital of South Korea is a huge metropolis where skyscrapers, high-tech subways, and pop culture blend with Buddhist temples, palaces, and street markets. Among the main attractions are the futuristic Dongdaemun Design Plaza, a convention hall with curved architecture that has a rooftop park, Gyeongbokgung Palace, which once had more than 7,000 rooms, and Jogyesa Temple, a place that houses ancient pine and locust trees.

The city's environment is truly impressive, and people here seem to be more polite to one another. As I walk, I notice that Korean women capture my attention with their gazes. With my perfect body and Giga Chad square jaw, it's easy to get phone numbers from these girls. Besides, maybe I should sell that house to gather some dollars and invest, even if slowly, in my lab?

I shake my head and look up, where there's a small sign written in Korean: "Arts, Papers, and Ink." I cross the street and enter the small store of school and art supplies.

The store is small but cozy, with shelves full of basic stationery and art supplies. The first thing I notice upon entering is the smell of new paper and fresh ink, a combination that brings a sense of nostalgia and creativity.

To the left, there's a section of canvases in different sizes, some with elaborate frames, others simpler, ready to receive new artistic creations. Next to the canvases, there's a variety of brushes of all types and sizes, organized in glass cups.

To the right, I find a wall full of pens, pencils, and markers, organized by color and type. There are simple pens as well as more sophisticated ones, with fine and thick tips, ideal for different types of writing and drawing. Next to the pens, there are notebooks of all kinds: hardcover, spiral, with blank or grid pages, ready to be filled with ideas and notes.

At the back of the store, I see shelves with various types of paper: bond, Canson, watercolor, and many others, available in packs or individual sheets. Near the paper section, there's a small table with acrylic paints, gouaches, and watercolors, organized in tubes and pots, next to palettes and other painting accessories.

The environment is lit by soft lights, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. Soft instrumental music plays in the background, completing the sense of tranquility and focus.

I approach the counter, where a friendly clerk greets me with a smile. "Hello, how can I help you today?" she asks in English with a slight Korean accent.

"I'm looking for a good quality pen," I reply, glancing around quickly to see if there's anything else that might be useful to me.

"Of course, we have several options. Any specific preference?" she asks, starting to show me some quality pens that are highlighted.

While choosing the pen that best meets my needs, I frown as I look at the clerk. My heart beats fast for a moment.

After reading the name displayed above the clerk's head, projected by the player system, I recognize that this woman is Han Jee-Han's art teacher. If I'm not mistaken, it was in her class that Han Jee-Han acquired the crafting skill, which later evolved, allowing him to create creatures like earth golems and other powerful beings.

Lee Miye is a young woman in her early thirties, with long brown hair and brown eyes, a slim waist, and long legs. She is currently wearing a pink top and a white blouse, looking as if she's about to head to school to teach.

Sensing the opportunity to savor the flesh of a MILF who has not yet married, likely because she chose work over having a family, much like American women who are also making such choices, which in the long run is somewhat lonely and sad.

"I want a pen that I can write a lot with and uses little ink," I say. As I speak, Lee Miye tries not to show a lovestruck expression, but her professionalism prevents it. She thinks: "What a man... Why is he so strong? Besides, why is he looking me up and down as if I'm some kind of model?"

She shakes her head and responds, "Yes, I understand! I think this pen would be sufficient." Lee Miye picks up a black-tube pen and says, "Besides being affordable, it's a national product. It should last a long time. If you like, I also recommend taking a black ink cartridge. All for just 2 dollars."

She smiles at me, her pink lips attempting to seduce me. Two dollars for a pen and an ink cartridge? What an absurd price, but... since I have ulterior motives, I will buy it.

I smile at her and say, "Can I take a picture of you?"

Lee Miye frowns and asks, suspiciously, "What do you mean, take a picture of me?"

I lean on the counter and say, "To show my friends that I found an angel."

She laughs, a little surprised, but eventually agrees. "Alright, but just one picture."

I take my phone out of my pocket and snap a photo of Lee Miye, who smiles shyly. "Thank you. I'll take the pen and the ink cartridge," I say, handing her the money.

While she packs my items, I keep talking. "You are a teacher, aren't you? I heard that you are very talented."

She blushes slightly and smiles. "Yes, I teach art. And you? What do you do?"

"I'm exploring my skills," I reply vaguely, leaving an air of mystery that I hope will intrigue her.
