Enigma

Sometimes we find ourselves lost between two choices, we don't know what to choose, and when we do it, we don't know the consequences of our choices.

We think that it's our life and it's up to us to choose, and we forget that our choices sometimes affect those close to us.

We must either think about pleasing them or do what makes us happy

In my case I opted for my own happiness without thinking about my parents or my disciples

I left everything behind; my kingdom, my strength, my power and the dearest to my heart

I embarked on an adventure from which I don't know if I would survive!

Do I regret? Yes sometimes, but I can't do anything about it except try to get out alive..

I found myself in a huge labyrinth from which I had to find a kind of giant who would guide me to the exit.

It was my third test

I turned left then a second time left, then right and went straight

It was like turning around in the same place

I got tired and in vain, all the paths looked alike

I didn't know where I was anymore and no one was there to help me

Not even that annoying Ostero

I sat on the floor, knees crossed and my head bowed, thinking of a way to overcome this labyrinth

I was starting to feel hot, so I took off my cashmere sweater and looking at it, a brilliant idea came to me.

Without wasting time I set off again

I had tied the first end of the thread to my starting place, and each time I found myself in front of several corridors I stretched my thread to see which one I hadn't taken yet!

That's how I finally managed to find the giant!

I was standing in front of him , looking him straight in the eyes, so that he understood who he was dealing with After everything I endured I was no longer afraid of anything! And with a strong and confident voice I said to him: "I am the goddess Galatea and I command you to help me get out of there" "I will do it dear goddess if you will be able to give me the solution to my enigma" he replied "What if I fail?" "You will stay here for eternity and little by little you will obliterate everyone, even your names! Are you ready to take on the challenge?"

I had no choice, it was either the enigma or to stay forever in this labyrinth At least if I found the solution I had a chance of getting out!

So I shook my head to say yes and he said to me

"A farmer wants to cross a river and take with him a wolf, a goat and a cabbage. He has a boat, but he can only bring with him one item at a time; either the goat, the wolf or the cabbage.

If the wolf and the goat are alone on a bank, the wolf will eat the goat. If the goat and the cabbage are alone on the bank, the goat will eat the cabbage. How can the farmer get the wolf, the goat and the cabbage across the river without anything being eaten?"

He added " You have 15 minutes to find the answer or else it will be too late"

It wasn't easy but I knew I could do it

It wasn't intelligence that I lacked

So I started thinking and thinking and after a while I found the solution. "First, the farmer takes the goat across. The farmer returns alone, then takes the wolf across, but returns with the goat. Then the farmer takes the cabbage across, leaves it with the wolf and returns alone to get the goat. " I replied

With a cold tone he said to me:

"Well done, that's a good answer but I fear that your time was up before you gave it to me. I gave you 15 minutes and you answered at the 16th"

He turned his back and was ready to go and leave me in the labyrinth for ever...
