Chapter 2:- The Temptation

In the cozy college common room, the friends had gathered, each one with their own thoughts and concerns. Raj, the adventurous spirit, leaned forward, his eyes alive with excitement.

"Hey, guys, I came across something really interesting recently," he declared, his voice carrying a sense of intrigue that immediately piqued their curiosity.

Arjun, the diligent and caring student, couldn't help but ask, "What is it, Raj?"

Sanya, who sensed something bad asked, "You always have a way of finding trouble, Raj. What's this about?"

Raj's grin widened, and he reassured Sanya, "Don't worry, Sanya, this isn't trouble. It's more like a thrilling adventure. I stumbled upon this online gambling app, and it's, well, it's kind of exciting."

Dev found himself intrigued. "Gambling, you say? I've never tried it."

But Sony, Arjun's partner, couldn't hide her concern. "Are you sure about this, Raj? Gambling can be dangerous."

Raj waved off her worries with a casual gesture. "Relax, guys. It's just for fun. You know, a little bit of excitement to break the monotony of our college lives."

Arjun, always thoughtful and responsible, hesitated. "I don't know, Raj. It sounds risky."

Raj turned his persuasive charm on Arjun. "Come on, Arjun. Just give it a try. It's not like we're going to bet our life savings. We can start small, and if we win, it could be a fun way to earn a little extra pocket money."

Sanya, with her concern etched on her face, interjected, "I'm not so sure about this, Raj. We should be responsible."

Raj reassured Sanya, "I get it, Sanya, but it's just harmless fun. What could go wrong? Besides, it's something new, an adventure right at our fingertips."

Dev, always up for an adventure, eagerly declared, "I'm in, Raj! Let's give it a shot!"

With Dev's enthusiasm, Sony, though reluctant, sighed and said, "Well, if Dev's on board, I guess I'll join in too, just to see what it's all about."

The group's excitement was palpable as Raj started his first game. He bet a sum of his money and played the game, and the room watched with anticipation, especially Arjun. He wanted to see how it worked, but a part of him also warned him about the potential consequences.

After some intense gameplay, Raj won the game, and it was a significant victory, earning him a substantial sum of money. It was nearly five times the amount he had initially bet. The room buzzed with excitement.

Arjun couldn't help but be impressed. He thought to himself, "Wow, that's a huge sum."

After five games, Raj had lost two and won three, securing a substantial amount of money. The thrill was undeniable, and everyone in the room was excited about the potential winnings.

"Let's celebrate with a treat!" Sony suggested, her eyes gleaming. "Raj, you can order whatever you like with that money."

Raj grinned and agreed. "Of course! Everyone, you can order whatever you want. It's on me."

As they made their way to the college canteen, Sony couldn't resist nudging Arjun. "You should try it, Arjun."

"I won't," Arjun replied, trying to reassure himself.

Just as he was beginning to drift into sleep, a message popped up on his phone. It was from Raj, who had sent him a link to download the gambling app.

"Hey, dude, you should try this too," the message said.
