The Date

<p>'' who was that?'' Dorothy asked. Why are you in a rush to know whom I was talking to? Mat responded. ''Seriously mat? Okay just kidding that was Cline. Mat responded you mean Cline the guy who… oh I see but he looked older than I thought. So what did he say? He asked me on a date Mat responded. ''A date? What did you say then? What was I supposed to say No? I said yes because I did not want to hurt him and ….. and what Mat, what? You know what almost happened to you on your last date. Said Dorothy. And he was the one who saved me, allowed me to sleep in his room when I had known where to go and empty. I know you feel scared for me but trust nothing is going to happen and besides it's not like a like him'' said Mat. Okay, girl I trust you but I don't want anything to happen to you''. Dorothy said holding Mat's hand. They hugged for a moment and Dorothy pulled off thinking of how this date would be. ''Okay, so what is my pretty girl wearing?''. Dorothy said as she rushed to the wardrope collecting different kinds of clothes. ''He gave me this piece of paper and I think that's where we're supposed to meet'' said Mat. ''Listen I know you don't want to get hurt again and I like that cline guy but I don't trust him Dorothy said making sure Mat felt safe and not thinking about anything but enjoying herself this time. ''hey I need to do something so you just pick the best dress and I'll like it'' Mat said with a cute smiling face as she heads out of the room. <br/>It was almost dark and Joe was still at the shop setting up things as he arranged for the date. ''Don't worry everything will work out for you my friend just tell her how you feel and you will know if she likes you or not'' said Joe. Have you done this before it looks like you have done this before''. said Cline. ''I haven't Joe responded but this is your first date and it has to be perfect because there's a saying that goes, first dates are never forgotten''. Cline was surprised by their reactions and concern for Joe, he looked at him with a smiling face. ''Thanks'' said Cline as they hugged. ''So listen you have to be there before she does and make sure you have so many flowers in hand'' Joe advised ''I got you Cline responded. ''Okay, what's left to do?'' Joe asked himself as he tried to recall if anything was left out. ''Cline closed the shop as fast as he could, as usual, he said goodbye to Joe got himself a taxi, and headed home. He thought of himself sitting in front of the girl he had been dreaming of his entire life, and his giggling got the attention of the driver.'' It is about a girl son?'' the driver asked. ''How did you know?'' Cline asked surprised. '' Boy, I've been your age before and I would be giggling the same way if I had fallen for a girl'' the driver responded ''Do you think she likes you as you do?'' the driver asked. ''I'm not sure but I'm about to find out soon'' Cline responded. '' Oh, you got a date''. said the driver. '' How did you….. oh okay. But I don't know if it's going to work out'' said Cline.'' Why so son?'' asked the driver. '' The girl is rich and I'm ….''hey son, the driver cut him off. She did agree to go on a with you right?'' yes she did cline responded. '' if she did not pride herself and agreed to go on a date with you what do you have to fear, you got to take your chance because such don't normally happen just let her know how you feel and as you said, you will find out if she's into you or not'' said the driver. ''this is my stop, thanks for the advice'' cline said as he gets out from the car. ''this my gift to you on your first date be a gentleman and don't screw up'' thanks again please this is the fair. '' oh son, let it be just go and have fun'' said the driver as he drove off. Cline was amazed by the driver ''Thanks!'' Cline shouted. He knocked at the gate and sooner was it opened by Ellen who gave a frown face on seeing him. "Why, what's wrong with you?" Asked Cline. "Nothing, just not that happy" Ellen responded as she walked by him. Cline couldn't get his mind of the date he kept thinking about it and how he wishes things to go. As he kept on thinking about the date , his door Open." Hey, said Ellen as she sits beside Cline." I want to talk to you about something said Ellen. "Okay I'm all ears" said Cline. "I know I had a thing with you and you sad it was bad for us to be doing that and I agreed to what you said. I trust you no matter what happened between us and that will never change so I came her to assure you of that. Ellen said as she holds Cline's hand. " You don't know how happy I am hearing you say that to me. I really appreciate you doing that. And I also trust you more than you think. There's something I also wants to tell you and it's about the girl I brought in the other day" .said Cline " oh okay. So what's about her? Ellen asked. "I asked her out" said Cline "you did what?" Ellen wasn't angry but surprised" and what did she say? " She said yes" Cline responded." I you sure of what you're saying? Ellen asked more surprised. "Yes, I'm sure " Cline responded. "So what's the plan?" Ellen asked. "It's tomorrow and I don't know what to do because I'm supposed to be at the shop" said Cline. " That's not a problem, I'll go with you to the shop tomorrow just to be your assistance Ellen assured him. "That would be awesome, I don't how to thank you. Can I give you a hug?
