The faces of the two completely went pale as they would never have thought that Yuki had such a hard life to get where she is now. They thought that it was the opposite, especially Fumiko. She originally thought that Yuki had a good life after getting adopted, but it seems that information was wrong, she didn't dig at it too deeply yet and she doesn't know everything that happened to her when she was growing up.
She thought that she knew her well as well as her background, but she was wrong about almost everything. She felt extremely sad at the thought that Yuki was forced to do illegal things when she was just 16, she was sad thinking about what kind of nightmare and hardships she had to go through just to survive, she then began to reflect on herself on how she became what she is now. But it was just her who was thinking like this, Kurokami was also thinking the same.
When both of them begin to think about their life growing up, they realize how easy it was compared to what Yuki experienced, there was basically nothing. There is simply no comparison. They have an easy and good life, of course, that doesn't mean that they didn't encounter any hardships, but just comparing it to Yuki was basically impossible.
"Yuki…" Kurokami called out before pulling Yuki's onto her chest before she could even say anything, this action of hers shocked her because she simply wasn't expecting it. But just as she was about to leave Kurokami's embrace, she was suddenly hugged behind by Fumiko trapping her between the two.
"Haisss… This is exactly why I don't want to tell both of you this because I already knew that this is how both of you are going to react. But you don't really have to worry about it anymore, it's all in the past already, I might have even forgotten it already if you didn't bring it up." Yuki smiled forcefully before pulling away from the two and looking at them with her clear red eyes that looked as if she could swallow everything.
"Come on now, stop thinking about it. It's all in the past already and I don't care about it. Let's just forget about it and enjoy our little time right now." Yuki said as she handed them both back their glass of wine and enjoyed drinking her own while looking at the beautiful night sky above.
But even though Yuki tried to ease the atmosphere, it was still a little down as the two couldn't just bring themselves to forget about it. Yuki knows this but she can't help it since she really doesn't know what to do to the both of them to ease their nerves and emotion. She knows that the two silently wish that they could do something or even just anything to help her, but they can't since it was all in the past already.
"There's no helping it, fine. If you want to do something, you can. But if you really want to help me then become even stronger than what you are now so that in the future, I would have to worry about your safety that much since I know that you will be perfectly fine just by yourself." Yuki casually said as she walked out of the little balcony before leaning towards the railings, and looking at them with a light smile on her face.
The two didn't know what to say for a few seconds before they silently nodded their head and joined Yuki on the balcony.
While they were enjoying the company of each other, on the complete other side of them, a group of people gathered in one hall covered in black hoods.
"Leader… the preparations are about 70% done and is estimated to be done within 2 months." A man bowed respectfully to the man who was sitting on a throne before announcing the news of their preparation.
"2 Months? Can't it get any faster than that?" The man who was sitting on the throne frowned a little as he didn't expect that it would still take a long time before his plans were fully set.
"I'm sorry Leader, but that is the best that we can do. The Royal Guards have been more active lately and they have more people around the Kingdom than before which makes our work even harder." The man responded a little nervously as he was afraid that their Leade would get mad at them.
"Is that so? Have you investigated the reason for that?" The man asked curiously as he couldn't think of any reason why the Royal Family would do something like this, there was no event that was going to happen, so he was confused.
"We don't know that yet, but it seems that the missing youngest princess of the Royal Family has finally been found, or rather she came back on her own accord after disappearing for quite some time." The man reported what he and his team found out after being out for quite some time.
The man who was sitting on the throne frowned as he didn't expect this news, he originally thought that the Royal Family had long killed the youngest princess. The news of her having the Light Element was known to everyone and because everyone also knows that the Light Element was a taboo in the Royal Family, she didn't hold much power in the family, but she was still able to live a normal life as a princess.
But he knows that is not entirely the case, he knows what goes in and out of the Royal Family. Because he is also a part of the Royal Family and his plan was to take over it by making it his own.
"Hehehe… now it's becoming more interesting! Contact the princess and seek cooperation! If we can use her we will be able to destroy the Royal Family much easier with her help, we can just use her as bait as I remembered that she is quite close to the old Queen of the Kingdom! It's been so long since I have seen my niece, well it seems that god is truly on my side!" The man laughed menacingly as he looked a little crazy as his laughter echoed in the hall.
"Yes Leader! We will try our best to make her join us! But what if she rejects us, then what do we do now? If we want her to join us, we have to tell our identity, how should I approach this then?" The man bowed his head but couldn't help but ask for some guidance from this wise Leader.
"That's not a problem. You can just say who you are and from what faction you are. Try to win her over with the intent of helping her get revenge so that she will get swayed even more to join us, but if she refuses… then just kill her. The Royal Family wouldn't do anything about it anyway." The man said lightly as if this didn't concern her at all.
