The One-Man Army (9) -An Unexpected Turn Of Events-

"Looks like it's my turn now, Rigurd."

Admir responded after Rigurd shoot him magic spells and arrows while smiling and holding his great sword at his back.

'How can he still stand after my 15,000 archers and 10,000 mages shot him?!'

Rigurd is in a state of confusion dealing with his mind and wondering why Admir was able to deflect all those consecutive attacks even though he was already 80 years old.

'Is Admir really this strong?! I know that he's strong...'

Rigurd clenched his right hand while holding his sword.

'... but to think it's to this extent!'

Rigurd clenched his teeth while enraged.

'... and how the f*ck can he still hold that Great Sword?! He's already old!'

'Why! Why! Why!'

Rigurd is extremely mad because of what Admir showed.

'That Great Sword is supposed to be mine! But Father gave it to him!'

A hint of jealousy and rage can be seen in Rigurd's features.

'Now I'm stuck with this puny A-Class Sword!'

'The Slaughterer! I want that thing!'

The Slaughterer is a greatsword/sword/bow/wand/shield exclusively used by Admir's Clan from generations to generations. Moreover, The Slaughterer has many names all throughout history, it is rumored to exist from the day that the Continent of Dreadwood appeared.

Consequently, no one knew what is the origin of 'The Slaughterer Great Sword', but only the Armathean clan. Unfortunately, Armathean Clan has been purged. The Slaughterer Great Sword can also change its form to sword, bow, shield or even wand.

Though, The Slaughterer Great Sword can't change its form by itself nor can it be changed by the wielder at will, it's still an SS-Rank Weapon - The only method that The Slaughterer Great Sword's form can be changed, is through the Wielder's weapon mastery.

If you're weapon mastery specializes in sword, The Slaughterer Great Sword can change its form to sword if it detects the wielder's weapon mastery. But then again, the Slaughterer Great Sword can only be wielded by Armathean clan or those who have the blood of the previous wielder.

....

* * *

'Phew, that was close! I almost died there! Luckily, I have shield and great sword mastery!'

Admir was relieved to deflect all the consecutive attacks.

It was also revealed that, before the attacks reaches Admir, he changed the form of The Slaughterer into a shield and change it back to Great Sword.

It was revealed that, Admir is a balanced fighter who mastered offense and defense; Great Sword and Shield, Admir can also be considered a Sword-Tank wielder.

'A shield!? What did I just saw? Was it real!?'

Mephisto was astonished to see Admir wield a shield.

'And his great sword changed its form? So the rumor that The Slaughterer can change is real!'

Admir surprised both Mephisto and Rigurd by his actions. Though, Rigurd didn't saw that Admir changed his weapon, but somehow... He knew, it's as if someone told him...

"Well, It's my turn now Rigurd, shall I?"

Admir questioned Rigurd with a smirk on his face.

Admir then runs towards Rigurd and his 50,000 troops.

"Buckle yourself up Rigurd! You will face 'The-One Man Army!'"

Admir shouted these sword while running towards Rigurd.

Admir then swung his great sword once and that slayed 4,831 and injuring 9,103 men.

'What the f*ck!? He's this old but he can still kill 5000 men with only one swing of his sword?!'

Rigurd was once again astonished and shocked to see Admir's strength didn't rust.

'I heared that he was already on a weak state because he wasn't on the battlefield for 16 years!'

"Shocked? Don't worry, there's more to come."

"Wha-!"

'Damn! I only have 38% of my mana left! I used 50% of my mana on that one attack..!'

'I lost 98% of my mana because I wasn't on the battlefield for 16 years!'

Turns out, Admir used 50% of his mana just to swing that great sword of his; one swing

of The Slaughterer Great Sword requires 15,000 mana stats, and the average mana stats

a human has, is around 25,000 which makes it impossible for a normal person to wield plus adding the fact that only Armatheans can wield that great sword.

But Admir, is blessed with a Support Magic and a Growth Mana/Shrinking Mana, support magic came from the Healing Magic, but 10x weaker, support magic doesn't heal a person but boosts their stats for a matter of seconds.

Growth Mana and Withering Mana is the skill only Armathean Clan has, Growth mana is the continuously growth of your mana starting from you birth to 50 years old, everyday it adds 10,000 mana to your mana stats. Withering Mana on the other hand, is the continuously shrinking of your mana starting from 50 to your death.

Admir's current mana is 8,850,000 and his prime mana was '3,237,250,000'. Which woukd make him a great mage if he wants to, but he didn't used his mana to be a mage, so he made his own magic called, 'Body Strengthening Magic' which came from his Support Magic.

Body Strengthening Magic is pretty common amongst healers and supports, but it' different it consumes 4,000,000+ mana stats for you to use it and Admir was the only who can use it.

'I can't use the Body Strengthening Magic now! It consumes 4 million mana stats! I lost too much of my mana! Now I can only use the Great Sword now! But I can only swing it for 100+ more times!'

'I'm glad that the taunt worked on him!'

'100+ Slaughtering Great Sword swings is enough for Rigurd to run away!'

"Here I come again Rigurd!"

'What the f*ck! He wasn't bluffing! He's really coming here to kill me!'

Rigurd was scared of Admir, because he had developed a trauma when they last fought 16 years ago, but Rigurd's identity was unknown for Admir.

"Everyone! Attack him!"

'Wha-! He's using his troops to run away again! He never changes!'

Admir depleted 20% of his mana, he only has 18% mana left. Fortunately, he successfully defeated 30,813 troops of Rigurd.

Thanks to The Slaughterer Great Sword's passive skill 'bleed' - it reduces enemies' strength by 75% when hit - he was able to kill 30 thousand troops without his body strengthening.

'gasping..'

Admir is chasing his breath after exterminating 30 thousand troops; he was tired.

'What the hell! To think that he was still able to defeat 30 thousand troops at his old age! But what happened earlier?'

'He definitely killed 5000 troops with one swing! Was that to taunt me!?'

A hint of annoyance can be seen on Rigurd.

"What's wrong Admir? Tired already? I thought you were going to kill me?"

Rigurd looks down at Admir at a hill with a smug looks on his face.

'I think that is enough! I can use 18% of my mana to run away using Support Magic!'

'I hope Mephisto ran away-'

"Ice Spikes~"

Admir has been shot by ice spikes, a C-Rank spell common amongst mages, but it was defintely 10x stronger.

"Kugh..!"

'What the hell happened?! I was shot!?'

Admir asked these questions and looked at his back seeing a familiar person.

"You..! How could you..?"

...

"HAHAHAH~! You fool Admir! Did you really think that Mephisto was still your 'friend'?"

"..."

Admir clenched his teeth while on his knees.

"Yeah~ Did you not find it suspiscious that I got my mana depleted by a mere Sensor Magic? That I attacked your orphanage with an A-Rank fireball? That I knew how many troops Rigurd has?"

Mephisto responded to Rigurd with a smug looks on his face.

"... Mephisto... how could you!?"

"You even lied to me about Rowan?!"

"Oh? About Rowan? It wasn't a false information; and I sealed 75% of my mana for that brat not to sense it."

"Wha-? Did you really have to seal 75% of your mana stats just not to get sensed by mana?"

Rigurd asked Mephisto with a sweat on his face.

"Yeah... that brat is the real deal..! That brat is too strong! I think he's stronger than prime Admir."

Worry and Cautiousness can be seen on Mephisto's features.

"Hey, you two! How could you both do this!?"

Admir on his knees while holding his great sword questioned.

"Oh? You still have the guts to talk back to us?

Rigurd responded with a sinister and smug looks on his face.

Rigurd then cuts his right hand off and took his great sword. But, the great sword reacted and electrified him because he doesn't have the blood of Admir or an Armathean.

"Krrggh.! Ahh.!"

Admir covered his right side because it was bleeding nonstop.

"Ugh! This stupid great sword..!"

Rigurd was enraged and annoyed because he cannot hold Admir's slaughterer.

"To think that The One-Man Army would be on his knees, what a rare sight to see!"

Mephisto said these words with a smug looks on his face.

"... Mephisto! You damn bastard! How could you do this! Why did you betray me!"

"Betray? Oh, don't get me wrong Admir, we didn't had an alliance contract before we left your little orphanage."

Mephisto responded with a smug looks on his face and tried to threat Sunhaven Orphanage.

"You..! Don't attack the children!"

Admir unleashes a strong aura.

"Woah, woah. Admir, don't worry, we won't; we will use the children for labor!"

Rigurd responded to Admir with a sinister looks on his face.

".Yeah, and also Admir, don't be so sad, Rigurd and I planned this 18 years ago!"

Mephisto responded while mocking Admir.

"You..!"

"With this! I can use Rowan as a sacrificial lamb to be stronger! HAHAHA!"

Rigurd replied to Mephisto while laughing like a maniac.

Mephisto and Rigurd, tortured Admir continuosly for 3 days straight.

I had a few days break, everyone; and I will no longer post 3 chapters a day, I will now post at least 1 chapter a day.
