Chapter 60: Shuya's Prophetic Dream?

They started to talk about the book. Godo said to her,

"Well if I'm really going to write a book about my swordsmanship, i will need to write at least a few three, four books."

Of course he was actually hiding the real amount of books he would have to write. If he said it out loud, he thought Nene would look at him as a fool, no one would actually have the amount of knowledge he had.

For some reason, after spending this much time in the universe, he started to develop some form of 'Pride'. Not just 'Pride', but many other different emotions.

"Woah Sir Godo, how well informed are you about swordsmanship. I'm pretty sure even some masters of swordsmanship will be barely able to write about 2 books. Don't tell me Sir Godo, are you a?"

Godo was a bit intrigued by what Nene thought what he was. So he asked her,

"A what?"

"Are you actually a really old sword spirit, that was sealed along with the 'other spirits'?"

Hearing what she said, he stopped being intrigued and replied,

"No, I'm not a spirit. And I don't even know these 'other spirits' you are speaking of."

Nene, was a bit dumbfounded, but she quickly regained her composure and said,

"Well then Sir Godo, when do you wanna start writing the book? I can do it anytime so it's more about whether you actually want to write it or not."

"Well I don't know yet, I'll tell you later."

"Ok. Well then, should we go back now?"

Saying this, they went back to the inn and then into their room.

The Iron Sword he had bought from the Shem BladeWorks was currently lying beside the wall

And Shuya, he was currently sleeping. Godo started to think about how late Shuya started to wake up these past few days.

So he decided to wake up Shuya. He was covering himself with the sheets. So when Godo went to take off the sheets to wake him up, he saw that he was already awake.

"Oh Shuya, you're already awake? Why didn't you come down for the training."

Shuya looked as if he was thinking about something,

"Gramps. Uhh i was just thinking about a dream i had."

"Oh, what kind of dream did you had that made you cover yourself with your sheets and not come down to train." replied Godo.

Shuya felt a shiver go down his spine,

"You know Gramps, in the dream that i had, the creature 'Lore' got revived or something like that, and i saw thousands of monsters and creatures destroying the villages of the kingdom.

And when i looked back for a second, i saw 4 shining colors coming down from the sky to the castle of our kingdom. When i decided to look at myself, i was already grown up, an adult.

So i was just thinking to myself. What if just like you asked me, there was a chance that this was going to happen in a few years from now."

Godo stood there, he was looking at Shuya. And how he looked, he seemed serious. So he replied,

"So you mean you didn't come down to train because of a possible disaster that could happen in a few years; that you dreamt of?"

Shuya nodded.

"Well that is the very reason why you should come down to train. If your dream does turn out to be true, you can be stronger when that time comes. Come down now, i will teach you some new moves and techniques. With just the 'One Point Thrust' you won't do anything to anyone."

Hearing what his gramps said, Shuya was now motivated. He was finally going to learn some new moves and techniques from his master. So he let go of his worried feeling and got pumped.

"Ok gramps. Let's go, how could i slack off when your about to teach me new things!"

Saying this he got up, made a blob of water, washed his face with it, then took his sword, then followed Godo back to the yard.

"Ok so Shuya. Look at my movements carefully. The move i will now show you is called, 'Divine Laceration'."

It sounded cool to Shuya. So he attentively started to stare at Godo. But still, he was not ready for what was about to come.

Godo stomped his feet and made an Earth Wall around the size of a big cupboard, all filled and no hollow. So Godo took the most basic stance a swordsman could ever have. Then swung his iron sword with both of his hands, in the most simplest way possible.

What happened to the wall made Shuya stare in awe and disbelief. Even though the slash only went through in the middle and not that deep, the whole wall began to crumble - no, it didn't crumble. It dissipated, like a bubble that has popped into little particles.

The whole wall disappeared. Shuya was shooked beyond comprehension, ok maybe not that much. He just witnessed a sturdy wall get dissipated into thin air, by just slashing it in the middle.

Of course he knew you could achieve the same result by using some magic while you slashed down, but Shuya didn't see that. Just pure swordsmanship was used.

Then Godo clapped his hands,

"Ok now Shuya, get ready for the next move."

"Wait gramps. Are you not going to explain how you just did that? Shouldn't we go slowly and steadily?"

Godo started to stand back up from his sitting position, and replied to Shuya,

"Well you do have a point there. Okay i guess we'll go slow and steady."

After saying that, Godo began to explain about how the 'Divine Laceration' worked.

Guys, what do you think about my writing skills. Have i gotten a bit better from the first chapter, the one that didn't even had 200 words. I just want to know your thoughts.
