The Highest Highs to The Lowest of Lows

They were all invited inside and sat down at the dinner table

"So why does that man wear a mask?"

"Oh you mean Pandora? They're just, special, sure."-Seer

"PANDORA IS INDEED VERY SPECIAL, AND FULL OF LIFE."

"LOOK AT YOU GO, To think my little Seer would make so many friends, how about I treat you all to some food then?"

"May I help? I may be Pandora's Wanderer, but at times they call me PANDORA'S CHEF"

"The more the merrier, to think you'd meet such talented people, I was a little scared to see you go out there with Doremifa, he wasn't exactly the nicest, but you two seemed quite close, so how was your adventure in the Sound Kingdom?"

She starts boiling some water for some pasta whilst Pandora's Wanderer cooks some bacon bits.

"Oh it was great really, we ate at a restaurant type of thing, and we helped Doremifa with his family issues, and we all got out safe and sound."

"That's great, I'm quite proud of you, each time I see you, you resemble your father more and more."

A small tear drops from her face.

"Anyways, how about you, the blue-haired boy."

"O-Oh, me? Well, I just happened to be there at the right time, to help."

"No I don't care about what you did, I want to know about you."

"I went to school with Luce, or well the Hero as you call him, we studied for quite some time, and then we fought some people and eventually went to the Sound Kingdom."

"So you and the Hero happened to meet Seer and Doremifa?"

"Pretty much yeah, we also found Pandora on the way to the Sound Kingdom."

"Just what were you doing in the Wasteland Pandora?"

"The Wastelands is Pandora's natural habitat, I wander the lands cooking, eating, and especially sleeping."

"Isn't it pretty dangerous?"

"Extremely, BUT THANKFULLY LUCE AND NOVIS SAVED ME, Other than that time, I usually make it out of most situations alive."

"Impressive, so why are you all here?"

"Oh well, Luce needs to meet the old King or something, but that's not too important, I was thinking that maybe we could move to the Sound Kingdom?"

"But sweetie, all of our things and well, our memories and such are still here."

"I know that Mom but, Doremifa promised a bigger house and a better life over there, and aren't you tired of this house?"

"I'm not exactly tired but, I'll think about it alright? it's a big decision and all."

"Time isn't exactly something we have and-"

"Well actually, I could go do my plan myself really, how about you all simply stay here for a while alright? I'll go do my stuff and come back once I've finished."

"PANDORA APPROVES."

"I guess if you don't mind."

"Can't I go with you Luce?"

"No it's fine really, I'll be back in a day or two alright?"

"Luce, just let me tag along, come on."

Novis notices the fool in deep thought.

"ALRIGHT EVERYONE THANK YOU FOR THE COMMODITY AND EVERYTHING, ME AND LUCE NEED TO GO SOME PLACES, WE'LL BE BACK IN A DAY SO TAKE IT EASY, BYEBYE SEER AND PANDORA, AND THANK YOU MISS FOR THE FOOD BUT WE NEED TO GO."

Novis grabs his hand quickly as they run out of the house.

Once outside.

"HEY, THIS ISN'T WHAT WE AGREED ON."

"AND YOU AREN'T BEING FAIR EITHER YOU KNOW, You're hiding something from me, and you're thinking more than you should alright, I know how you get when you think a lot."

"Hmmm, alright fine you can tag along, but whatever happens or whatever you see, promise to never tell a soul alright?"

"Alright alright, that's fine, now where are we going."

"To the castle up there, let's climb the rooftops so no one fully notices us."

"Right, you're very famous here, lead the way then."

The fool leaps up to the nearest house and jumps on it swiftly.

Novis does the same except uses some steps of water along the way up since he can't jump that high.

"So just jump from one to another, and eventually once we're near the palace or however you want to call it, we wait for one another."

"Sounds easy enough, want to make it a race?"

"Wouldn't be fun without some competitions, now get ready, set, GO."

The fool easily runs from one rooftop to another without losing momentum for even a second.

Novis tries to use his style but notices he isn't exactly keeping up.

"𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘰𝘸? 𝘔𝘺 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘵𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘱, 𝘰𝘳 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺?"

He starts to use his boots of Water and skates as fast as he can, and right before he reaches the end, he creates a ramp of sorts with his Water and leaps carrying over his momentum.

Some of the water droplets drop on some of the resident's heads but none seem to notice it.

The fool sees this and is somewhat impressed.

After slowly catching up and getting the feel for it.

"Wha'ts up Luce? You seem a little slow there." He says as he does a spin, off of the ramp and faces towards the fool.

"Don't mess around too much, you never know when I can catch up."

"Sorry? What's that? Can't hear you from back there-"

The fool appears behind Novis and his armor of light can barely be seen.

"W-Woah there."

Novis almost falls but stops his fall with a bed of water.

"See you there Novis, don't be too slow now."

The fool decides to use his boots of lightning, enhancing his speed even further.

"Hey no fair, oh well, I'll catch up to him someday, either way, these boots are pretty fun."

Novis arrives about three minutes after the fool.

"Took your time huh?"

"I'm not even that late alright, now what's the plan?"

"Plan? We're just going to barge in there."

"They're not going to mind?"

"Like they would deny their Hero, they still owe me I think, now let's get going."

"If you say so."

The fool jumps down with no issue but cracks the ground upon impact, Novis uses a bed of Water to stop his fall instead.

They simply walk straight in opening the massive giant golden gates.

Right in front of them, the King of the Thunder Kingdom could be seen.

"Long time no seen, Eon right?"

"I'm glad you can remember my name and all but, what are you exactly doing here?" A sweat drips down from his forehead.

"What was his name again? Naru, Naruka? Narukami right, yeah do you still have him in that cell?"

"We do in fact, what do you want from him?"

"So many questions about this and that, I just need him for like, a day or two, that should be fine no?"

"Well-."

"It's fine, right? Follow me Novis, we're going to go grab him quickly."

"Could you at least let me finish?"

The fool walks up to him and grabs him by his shirt.

"I don't like you that much alright? You seem a good enough King as you are now, but that doesn't mean you can go ordering me around got it? You've still got a long way to go, so it'd be a shame for it to all end now and so soon, now you're going to let me do as I please ok? Got it?"

"W-Whatever you say."

"Good. Anyways Novis, come this way."

They quickly walk to the cellar area.

"Why did you have to be so mean to him?"

"It's fine it doesn't matter, I never liked him anyways."

"That doesn't mean you can simply do that sort of stuff to him."

"I just don't like him alright, it's not exactly that complex, I'm not too sure of it myself but he gets what he deserves, it's not like I'm going to be seeing him much either, and I had high hopes of him as a King, but something about him just ticks me off."

"Fine fine, it's not like you have to like everyone anyways."

"As long as you don't mind too much, anyways we should be near him."

After getting to his cellar, the beaten-up King of the Thunder Kingdom, one who attained an entire Kingdom, a man who bathed in gold and riches, could be seen sleeping on dirt.

"Would you look at that, seems like we changed positions huh, wasn't I the one sleeping on the floor whilst you enjoyed yourself? The tables really have turned."
