Chapter 20

"Oh, My, God! We are gonna die!!"

"Aaahh!! Mommy!"

"Oh no!!"

The plane at its full speed came flying through the air as it approached the bridge causing the civilians to panic and look helpless at the plane but to their great surprise, the plane didn't crash into the bridge when it was there but instead passed through it like a ghost.

"W-We are not dead, yet!"

"Oh, thank god. I almost peed my pants just a second ago."

"....."

"Hey! Look under the plane!"

The civilians on the bridge started signing in relief and thanking god for the destruction that they just missed but then someone among the shouted out loud pointing his hand at the plane drawing people to look at what he was seeing.

"Huh?! Is that a... person?!"

"Yes! It is a person, a woman to be exact."

"I knew that God hasn't abandoned us."

Hope was raised in the heart of the civilians on the bridge as they stared at the plane that was going to crash into the sea and the girl wearing black clothes under the plane.

Meanwhile, while the people were giving her the credit for saving them. Kara was in confusion as ever since she came close to the plane she hasn't been able to touch it and any time she tries she will just pass through it like some kind of ghost.

'What's going on here? Who is responsible for this occurrence?'

Kara was confused as she stared at the vibrating plane as she wasn't able to come to any conclusion on why this was happening and followed underneath the plan until it crashed into the sea.

["Is everyone okay?"]

Nathan on the other hand let go of the plane after it had crashed into the sea. He changed his voice using his speed and asked if everyone was okay.

The passengers on the plane after experiencing such a life-turning event breathe a sigh of relief and nodded their heads while some started cheering for Nathanial.

'Well, my job here is done.'

Nathan thought to himself after seeing the confirmation on the well-being of the passages and left the inside of the plane to the plane wing where he saw Kara standing there.

"Who are you?"

SWOOSH!!

Kara questioned upon seeing Nathan but he didn't answer and just dashed away from the sight.

"SIGH! Today was a really tough day."

Nathaniel sighed to himself as he entered his apartment after experiencing a tough day. He headed straight to the bathroom after entering and took a bath to cleanse himself of the sweat he accumulated.

A few minutes after entering, Nathaniel came out with a towel wrapped around his waist.

It has been a week since flight 237 was saved by him and ever since then he has began his superhero in this world. Running through the city and saving but he isn't the only one as a certain blonde-haired girl dressed in blue and red has also been flying through the city and doing the same job.

Nathaniel changed from the towel and wore a white pyjamas before heading to the kitchen area where he opened the fridge and took out a box of pizza which had two slices of inside.

Taking out the pizza slices, Nathaniel placed them in the microwave and turned it on.

DING!

The microwave made a ding sound after the timer was up and Nathaniel took the pizza slices from it and also took a can of soda before leaving the kitchen area to the couch.

"They should be here in any moment now."

Nathaniel muttered to himself as he turned the tv on and started drinking his soda.

Earlier when he was coming home, Alexia warned him about a few stalkers who turned out to be a secret organization that deals with a alien related matters and accompanying them was the Kara who also who is known by her hero name as Supergirl.

KNOCK!!

A seconds after Nathaniel started taking pleasure in his pizza and soda, a knock sounded from the door which brought a smirk onto his lips before getting up to open them.

"Yeah, who is it..."

Nathaniel spoke out as he opened the door but instead of getting an answer he was responded with a fast approaching dart that was aimed right at his chest. Nathaniel saw everything in a very slow motion but he did stop the dart and allowed it to pierce him.

THUB!

The moment the dart pierced Nathen's body it released a but coloured substances into his body that caused him to pass out and fall to the ground.

"We've got him, Sir."

After Nathen passed out, four men dressed in D.E.O. Uniforms came out of hiding and lifted him up before speaking to the commander through their communication device.

["That job, boys. Now bring him in."]

"Affirmative."

[D.E.O. Headquarters]

"Where am I."

"You in D.E.O. interrogation room."

Nathaniel woke up to find himself handcuffed to a chair with a table in front of him inside an interrogation room and sitting in front of him was a woman her remembers very well and stand beside the woman was a black skinned man who is the director of the DEO.

"Okay, so is it necessary for you guys to handcuff me when you already know what I can accomplish?"

"We knew normal cuffs wouldn't be able to hold you but those cuffs aren't normal as the can absorb vibration, now let's begin what you are here for. Who are you and what are you doing in National city."

"Before I answer your questions can I have a moment with Supergirl, I know she is behind the door so you can't deny my request."

"What?!"

Alex became surprised at Nathaniel's words on Kara eavesdropping on them. She quickly got up from her chair and went to open the door and true to Nathaniel's words, Kara was indeed eavesdropping on them.

"H-Hey Alex, I just came to see if you guys were done with the interrogation."

Kara became nervous when Alex suddenly opened the door and nervously gave a lame excuse to explain her situation but Alex didn't pay it and just shook her head.

"Do you except me to believe that when the interrogation just started a couple of seconds ago, huh Kara? Anyway, he wanna to talk to you before with proceed with questioning."

"He wants to talk to me?!"

"You two have five minutes to finish whatever you want talk about."

Hank and Alex left the interrogation room after Hank told her that she has five minutes to finish whatever Nathaniel wanted to talk to her for.
